This is one of my all time favorite BTS song...Suga wrote this song when he was hospitalized back then due to apendicitis.

You must have noticed jungkook's adlibs during Suga's part.. even during the whole song.. it's soo addictive

Idol has a huuuge amount of easter eggs so it's not impossible that there's a connection - well spotted. 👍 Idol's packed with things they've been critisized for, like Suga being too pale = Snow White shirt, J-Hope being lanky = balloon man and Bugs Bunny shirt, V's glasses, RM playing with filters during Vlives, etc.... XCeleste made a video about Idol with all the things. Her knowledge of BTS details is just mindblowing. 🤯

Thank you 💜 This song is a lyrical masterpiece. BTS always has multi layered songs. If you wish it to be a love song, it can be, though 'just one day and night' hits differently if it is love. The clock behind represents who they are singing to. The time and the clock. By this time BTS were working hard day and night. They slept very little and had no time for anything else. If only they could 'hold your *hands* - the *hands* of the clock. Stop time so they can get lost in the arms of sleep. Just one day to party party, go to the movies. You are the centre of my life - their music so they really dont mind but...... A lot of their lyrics have the word *girl*. Either to fit in with the rhythm or to give a chance for another interpretation. In the song they are also singing to Sleep, other activities and rest in relation to the clock and time.

That’s why I was left feeling stupid 😭 I interpreted it as complete romantic love song at first too but then I came across the time/clock (big brain Armys) meanings so then I realized (like the comment above), they were possibly addressing to Time itself of their youth to not fly away symbolic to the butterflies in the MV and to give them a day to be just themselves and all that come being a young adult. They are actual geniuses and I was just slow. I learned never to take a bangtan lyrics in the literal sense.

I like very much how you do color-coded lyric videos first, it's always hard to watch reactors struggle with trying to read lyrics while watching the music video visuals at the same time haha. Also, then you can concentrate on the performance itself when you get to the live performances, instead of having to decipher lyrics at the same time. The smart and thoughtful reactors like you do the lyric videos first ❤ Btw just heard that Snoop Dogg has confirmed a collab with BTS! Hope you will see my other comment about Ddaeng for you and Kyle to react to, since you guys like rap! There's a lot of content just for Ddaeng that I linked for you, plus it's a beloved and iconic BTS rap-line song. And it's a song outside of their official albums, so it won't mess up your order.
