Jhope and V had me in this performance my gosh. Taes outfit and hair look so good and Jhope just always owns dionysus imo

New ARMY. Wasn't a Kpop listener and have only ever known about BTS through memes. A month ago, my sisters force-fed me their names, and I watched their James Corden carpool karaoke. Hobi caught my attention first, because his energy was infectious. Then it was Jin, singing his verse on Mic Drop, then saying "I don't know what they're saying, but let's laugh". And then Suga sang a part of Black Swan. I immediately looked for their Black Swan performances next, and they blew me away. Then, I found their 2019 MMA performance of Dionysus. Before I realized what it was, I sank into the BTS black hole. I'm still sinking and wallowing. I've been listening to at least 70 out of more than a hundred of their songs repeatedly, and I'm still learning more. I have many running favorites now, but Black Swan and Dionysus will always have a special place in my heart, because they won me over so easily. Hoba was insanely sick for this song, and RM and Suga are feeding my need for hard-hitting beats. I've probably watched every performance of Dionysus, and my favorite is the one where Jin eargasmically sings the last note live. A month ago, I didn't even know BTS had a rap line. I didn't even know they were all extremely talented and extremely hilarious. Now, my bias is Seokjinnie and the rap line. Jiminaah, Taehyungie, and Jaykaaay~ are all my bias wreckers. I'm an old rock fan, and the power of Jin's voice always hits it for me. All of their unique voices are magical for me, tho, and the colors when these seven harmonize in different combinations-DIVINE. I can't explain how it is, but I feel an overwhelming thrill when I hear each voice. Even right now, House of Cards is ringing in my head. One hour ago, it was Blood, Sweat, and Tears. Two hours ago, it was Heartbeat. These boys are making me explore new genres and are making me expect genre switches in every song I hear, even when it's not theirs. The last time I felt this grateful for a group, I was listening to Led Zeppelin and Queen for the first time.
