71 year old BTS Army here. "Butter" was their second Grammy nomination after their first nomination "Dynamite". It was co-written by a team of 8 American and Canadian songwriters in addition to main rapper RM, leader of BTS. "Dynamite" was co-written by L.A. based English songwriter David Stewart and Jessica Agombar and produced by Stewart. They were the first two of three all-English feel good songs released by BTS in order to cheer up their Armys (fans) during Covid. The third all-English song released was "Permission to Dance", co- written by a team of 4 songwriters including Grammy winner Ed Sheeran and co-produced by the team, not including Ed Sheeran. BTS now has 5 Grammy nominations including for a collaboration with Coldplay, "My Universe" where they have songwriting credits alongside Coldplay. Normally, BTS is more involved with the songwriting/producing of their own music with the exception of these three all-English songs. All of the above songs debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. They have an impressive 6 songs that debuted at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100! Thanks for your reaction!!! 💜
