Kim Namjoon was first member to join BTS. His mom opposed him joining BTS because she wanted him to study well. He used to work so hard with the productions yet his mom would break his computers and mics so that he would concentrate on his studies. Kim Seokjin , who joined because of his visuals, got criticized that he had no talent in singing but he proved all of them wrong. He wanted to make his mom proud and wanted his mom to have something to brag about her son to their judgmental neighbors. Min Yoongi , whose parents didn't support him well in his music career, had to manage his life on his own. If he had to take the bus, he didn't have money to eat. If he spent it on food, he couldn't take the bus. But now, he's earning millions. Jung Hoseok had earlier auditioned in JYP but was not accepted in the later half. Being a street dancer and having so much talent, he almost gave up and wanted to leave BTS but his members apposed him in that and he definitely didn't let them down. Yet, he was judged because of his visuals. He auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him. Park Jimin , who had to starve himself only because people called him 'fat'. He came all the way from Busan to persuade his dreams and used to practice so much that once he slept for only 3 hours. That is what has made him perfect today. Kim Taehyung lived with his grandmother for 15 years to support her in her farm. He had always been a part of BTS but was never shown in any promotion-not until they debut. Taehyung said he used to practice filming log so that when he's finally announced as a member he can do a lot of for his fans. Jeon Jungkook came to Seoul from Busan in a very young age persuade his dream. He even traveled all the way to America to learn dancing. Once Jimin caught him crying alone and when Jimin asked why, Jungkook said that he misses his family. BTS , they might be global legends today but they had their own hardships too. So please stop calling them overrated and learn to respect them. They deserve what they're getting today. OMG thanks for those likes. I never got likes like that. I purple you 💜💜💜💜💜

💜💜💜💜 im so happy to be in this fandom, you really don't understand. i love you all deeply in my heart, i purple you. i want you to feel loved, cared for, and happy. i want you all to understand that anything is possible. Namjoon said "no matter when you become an ARMY, we are always thankful for your love." so please never give up on BTS & ARMY. i remember when Namjoon was given hate comments to read, he was the only member who spoke and understood English. what did he do with the hate comments? he said "i'll show you all.." he hid them from the other members, he kept it to himself. the pain, imagine it... i know there are some ARMYs that are immature and make us look bad, but all they're trying to do is protect our BTS. for example when someone calls them gay, ugly, feminine etc, someone steps up. but they get called "toxic" for it. that has happened to me. im pretty sure for all of us. but since BTS suffered so much ever since they were trainees to debut, we want to make them feel like their hard-work paid off, it really did! they were called names, mistreated, almost bankrupt, but they continued for the 300 fans they had. now look at them. all of the hard work, with over 130 million fans! they continued for us, even when they got severe amounts of hate, they dreamed of being able to go to award shows, DREAMED! AND THEY ACHIEVED IT! *blood sweat & tears,* the iconic song, the song that got them a daesang. we all know and love her. but lots dont know the #1 reason why i love it. it's because, other then the amount of ARMYs they had at that time, that song made them continue. they got a daesang, they cried, in the video you can see when "Bangtan Sonyeondan" was announced as the winner, they all looked confused. they couldn't believe it! they thought all they could do is DREAM. they were like: "oh wow, congratulations to Bangtan Sonyen- wAIT THATS US! Y'ALL HEAR SUM?" and that broke my heart. they never thought they would touch an award. now look at them, literally SNATCHING our weaves and the awards! i, myself personally, am an ARMY since 2015, and i was happy watching them grow to be the amazing, humble, goofiest, adorable, *sWaG* having people. they started from NOTHING, now they have everything they can ask for. but since they're very humble men, what do they do? they've donated $1 million to BLM (im african-european american!) and ARMYs matched that by ALSO donating $1 million! they started a *Love Yourelf* campaign and Namjoon spoke at UNICEF. do the haters see how much BTS cares about ARMY? now do they get why us ARMYs are so protective over the boys? no, because they lost all of their brain-cells due to quarantine and there is no way for reviving them. it was permanent damage, sadly... *NOT!* so ARMY, we love you. BTS loves you, i love you, and MILLIONS of other ARMYs love you. we are a family, if we have any troubles, we talk about it with each-other, we help each-other, care for each-other, and most importantly: *need each-other.* if all of us weren't on a team, we wouldn't be helping BTS. why? because when we ALL buy all of these albums, we're working together to make the album sales higher. when we're voting for the most handsome man in ________, (add any year, let's say the year you are reading this in so for me its 2020 & 2012 [2020 in america, where i was born, and 2012 in ethiopia where my whole entire family is from. but since im in america, let's say 2020 for me!]) we're all working together to make BTS win! so ARMY, if you have any problems going on, watch some funny moments of BTS (or any groups you stan, im a HUGE multifandom but BTS is my ultimate boy group & ultimate in general💜, if you're still reading this, who's your ultimate boy and girl group? girl group for me is either ITZY or BLACKPINK) or talk to any ARMY, we will help, we are family, BTS is our family. so i just wanted to say: *i will NEVER forget about you guys. i will never forget BTS, and i will never forget how powerful my #1 group and family are.* if you read this until the end, congratulations! i kind of ranted, and im sorry, i kinda exploded. and i wanted to cry while writing this. i love you all so much, please stay safe & healthy, wash your hands and utensils! i've never felt this close to anyone in my life. BTS came from a small company, they started with nothing. Jin who was casted just because of his looks, Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to be, Namjoon who was never have been supported by his parents, Jimin who thought himself as ugly and fat, Taehyung whose always been part of BTS but was never shown in any promotions- not until they debut, Hoseok who seemed to always laugh but never felt as an accomplishment to his father, And Jungkook who was very shy and have saved his parents at a young age by auditioning to companies. Remember the days when they were struggling? They even have to sacrifice and work hard just so they could eat? They were squeezing themselves into one small apartment and have to take responsibilities- the reason why they wrote the song 'Move'. The day they almost disband on N.O era because they don't have enough allowance and money to continue, but still they fought for their dreams? There was also a time when Bang PD-nim asked Namjoon if he wanted to have a solo career or sacrifice for BTS. He could have choose to be a solo artist since it was his dreams, but he didn't. He said BTS is BTS and they can make it! Yet, some fans are telling him to 'leave bangtan' it hurts him alot. Remember those times when they have to use their managers as extras to their MV's because they don't have enough budget? They even asked if they can use or borrow their staffs' and managers' cars just to shoot 'I Need U' MV successfully. Those times when Jimin has to starve himself just because people calls him fat and ugly. That one interview where Yoongi said that; it was nice that people listens to their music because Taehyung and Jungkook are good looking. And he thought that it was at least enough. Do you remember when Hoseok was supposed to be the vocalist and Taehyung is the rapper, but he chose to rap instead and learn it because Taehyung wants to be a Vocalist. It was Taehyung's dream and Hoseok loves his dongsaeng that much he would sacrifice. Other fan base were accusing them for plagiarism just because they had the smallest detail whose the same with other big K-pop group which is actually just a coincidence. There was a time when Yoongi packed 300 gifts and letters just to give to their 300 fans who will attend at their mini fan meetings. So why do people judge them so fastly? Did you know that Jimin came all the way to Seoul from Busan just to persuade his dreams? Did you know that Taehyung lived with his grandma gor almost half of his life making him innocent from what else is out there in our world? Did you know that Jungkook set aside his embarrassment just to meet the others expectations? Yes, he is the golden maknae, but he suffers too when he see his hyungs having a hard time, he cries. And there was a time when Jimin caught him crying and the reason is because he misses his family. Jungkook often cry secretly so that his hyungs wouldn't worry. Did you know that Jin auditioned to make his mother proud of him and so that his mom would have something to brag off to those judgmental neighbors they have. He worked hard on his vocals yet people called him talentless. Did you know that Namjoon worked hard just to produce songs yet there was a time when his mom ruined his computer and broke his mike so he could focus on studying? Did you know that Hoseok auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him? Because he felt like he was a disappointment? Those rookie days where they only listen to the awardings and be amazed by their seniors. They can't do anything but to watch those idols who receives the awards. The days when they were happy with just 300 views on KZread, mini fangatherings, small numbers of followers, and one Daesang award. They were contented. And now they've reached to the top and became more successful. From 150 fans to 6M and counting, From a small practice room to a bigger one, From cramped dorm with roommates to big dorm with each of them having a room, From one daesang award to more awards and they've even won on BBMAs. BTS never expected this before their fourth year anniversary, they've come so far- so far that the only chance we have to see them is to go to their concertor (NEVER) meet them along the street with 0.01% chance. But really ARMYs! We've came this far fam, let's love them and give them our support till the end! I wanted to thank y'all. I love you fam! I love BTS. Let's stay together until the end. Wow......I'm actually a new army and I agree I don't know much about the boys and their struggles except for their names ofcourse😣......but after reading your comment, I saw them in a new light......7 boys with their own struggles.......meeting their parents' expectations, trying to pursue their dreams........I respected them a lot but after reading that comment, I started respecting them even more than I usually do. I'm really lucky to be a part of such an amazing army who adore and respect an amazing boy band called BTS😊😊😊😊 And I want to thank this amazing army who wrote this comment (sorry I don't know your name because I didn't see ur name😔). this is 2023, and I'm glad that I watched this mv. BTS is a band of brothers who are very talented, hard-working boys and we are definitely happy to follow their journey through the years, their bad and good times, their ups and downs. Up until now, they have their best and very proud of them. We don't know what the future will be for them until all of them complete their military commitments. But all I can say is that we will be waiting, and hopefully, they will start an era of BTS, new directions, and ideas so on. Of course, our dear 'boys' will come out stronger, more confidence and ready to rule the world again. We shall meet again in 2025. Meanwhile, all the best to our Magnificent 7, especially to JK, who is now busy with his new solo album (correct me if I'm wrong) and his CK promotions, etc. Good luck, love, and 💋 from your fans.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I know right! People should really think twice before calling them or anyone/anything overrated coz sometimes their just not. This group is made up of special, gifted, and very talented people that deserve all the attention that they get and more. I love BTS and I admire them for making their music with passion and love, which is one of the reasons I think they're extremely popular; they write songs with a true meaning and story (not saying that other people don't ofc) and execute it beautifully. I am still truly amazed at them and their life story, and I will always remember that all their blood, sweat, tears, (no pun intended xD) and hard work are put into everything that they do everyday as kpop idols and as BTS themselves. At first when I didn't know them I searched their song on yt out of curiosity.And the first song I heard was FAKE LOVE and the instant moment I heard the song I was like " WOW, it's so beautiful, so nice" even though I didn't understand anything lol. After that time I started listening to their songs and searched information about them and slowly I became an ARMY.I became an ARMY in 2020 between November and December. And I feel so proud to be a BTS ARMY. They have suffered a lot, they have struggled and now they are successful.I really respect them for still going on even in the most difficult times.I purple them.And I can say "I purple you" truly to them and ARMies only because I trust them the most among all the people I know.And just like other ARMies I also wish I could have been an ARMY from the start but it's ok I will be with them till the end. When they received their first award as a new artist,,, their smiles were genuine as if they received the most and last award of their lives!!! It really shows how innocent they were and they felt happy for the simple things they had!!! 😊

*Namjoon* helped me to tell me im not ugly, people are just judgemental *SeokJin* told me to be the weird and funny person I am and to be proud of it and own it *Yoongi* told me to hang on to those hard times and have fun with your dream *Hoseok (Hobi🌞)* helped me to become more of myself and be happy for who I am *Jimin* has told me to be nice to anyone I see, even if they're rude to you. Be sweet and supportive *Taehyung* has showed me, even though hard times are hard, keep trying and trying, although the pain hurts really bad. The effort pays off *Jungkook* has showed me, life isn't perfect unless we picture it to be. He makes me think I'm the person who can do anything I want, if it's nice, funny and appropriate. *BTS* showed me that what amkes me ME, is something I should be really proud of. I was sobbing while watching this, remembering the hard times that they went through. But they didn't give up, they didn't disband, they stood with each other, and here they are now. If it weren't for ARMY, i probably wouldn't have known BTS even existed. Because ARMY made it possible for them to continue. As an ARMY myself, i wanna thank you all who helped make this happen. I remember suffering depression and i always thought about suicide, i was very insecure about myself..... Then BTS changed my life. Literally. They made me realize and learn to love myself, and to not care what other people think. I love them so much because they have helped so much people around the world, they practically changed the world. So again, thank you ARMY for making this possible. Thank you. I purple you all.💜

Just imagine when Jin leaves. There last run together, there last tears together as a whole family, there last Run, there last concert with Jin. When this happens, I will stay strong as an army. I can't stop crying. People don't know what these boys have been through by just looking at them. All they see is their smiles and fame and think they are happy people who just make music and are popular for their looks. Once they get to know these 7 boys they see their story, and BTS for who they really are. The hardships have given them more determination not to be defined by them! As a fan since 2015, watching them endure those untruths and attacks made me also more determined to follow and support them to negate and outlast the haters. It is now 2023 , BTS are 'killing it' , doing their individual paths but keeping in touch as BTS and Army still remains protective of 'our boys'. I am so, so grateful and respectful for Army who were there from the start, attending their fan meets and concerts, encouraging the members not to yield! I felt this.... My family always says I'm obsessed thinking it's because of their looks but in fact they help me through my depression. I've become so much healthier and happier, one day I hope to thank them for the positive support and impact they had in my life so far ... hello. There is my history of becoming the part of this family. Summer, 2019. August. I was into Korean culture so much,I adored the tradition,and I especially listened to TWICE and BLACKPINK. But then...... My friend saw me watching BLACKPINK's "Playing with fire" MV,and said,that it's just a little part of K-POP community. And she recommended me to listen to BTS,"the legends". At the first time,I was surprised, why she called them "the legends". But I listened to them. They impressed me. They made me cry. They made me feel better. They made me live in a positive way. Their masterpieces calmed me down. They made me dance. They made me laugh. And now.....I think,that I can't live without them. I feel like they are the part of me. And yes, I heard many hatred towards them and ARMY. I was so worried about it...I even wanted to quit listening to them. But...... I said N.O. They were the important part of my life...I can't quit just because of that! I continued to listen to them. And now,I am here. A young,little ARMY. No other emotional movie or drama made me cry like this Even though they haven't disbanded yet ,thinking about the last day of them standing on the stage ,telling us that we had good memories , crying together........... But this is not the end BTS will always live in our heart 💜💜

I came back here again. It was two years ago before, when I became an Army, I was 12 years old now I'm 14 and still stuck with these crackheads. Can't believe that I'm still alive. My mother wants me to die, but you know what I will not...I want to see my Hyungs playing with their children. I want them to get every possible success and fame. When I started watching this I felt like I was going to cry I love BTS with all my heart and watching how they got this far begging people to come to their concerts is really sad. They struggled, they were scared to hope, but us ARMYs were always their for them during their darkest times. You got so far BTS and I can't wait to see all 7 of you back together in 2030 or even earlier. Your music heals my heart every time I'm depressed. Borahae BTS💜💜💜

I miss them so much I can't stop crying...when they'll come back from the military service all together I'll cry even more and be the happiest on this world. BTS you changed me in better, I love you so much..thanks for everything you've done for us 💜💜
