Thanks for the tuning guide! Would be nice to get your thoughts or explanation on the selections you make, ie why you would make front anti sway bar higher on FWD or why full corner for front downforce and speed for rear.

I go max downforce on the front to give me more grip on the front axle so you can turn in easier. Also dropping the downforce off the rear will give you higher topspeed

Yeah sway bars on FWD can be a mixed bag depending on how you want the car to drive, plus what’s put into it. This car is just wild so there’s not a whole bunch you can do, so I just threw numbers at it that were close enough. As mentioned before, full front no rear is the generic FWD aero for front end grip, usually no rear is best because the back end doesn’t need any help sticking and just slows you down. There are a few exceptions to this though!

@@Raceboy77 Thanks for the reply. What would be the difference for RWD? I'm guessing aero is the same. But sway bars and diff confuse me. I normally go 18F 24R, for no real reason. And then the 70 ACC and 15-20 DEC on the rear diff. What would you change for to combat understeer in FWD and then RWD? I'm assuming AWD is similar to FWD.

what would be interesting to see and educational for the other players was to do this run with a DNF, you would have done them a favor for their next construction.. you pull the lobby up to avoid competing last, we'll get tired of it quickly enough to play in the sandbox level 😅🙂

Just got the game the other day but I need a new xbox controller with a cable since my old ones only work with usb-c to windows 11. what controller do you recommend? are you running bluetooth?

Can u explain your issue? Did the port start to be flaky? I use the wireless adapter and I just keep it close ish to the controller amd I have never had problems

@@WillFuI ohhh ive never seen that device. i will be getting a new controller today so if it cannot connect via cable then ill try that. and yea the old xbox one remote doesnt have bluetooth and the usbc kept disconnecting during gameplay. got a few good games in though, the physics engine is so powerful in this game!

Interesting that you didn't get a penalty when you waited off track at the bus stop. I took the run off zone at Indianpolis to avoid an crash and got a 5.70 second penalty. Although I even lost two places. Somehow the penalty system is incomprehensible: yesterday I lightly touched the car in front of me and got 2.25 seconds. When I overtook him, he bumped into me several times and at first got nothing, then at some point 0.5 seconds.

It’s because I didn’t gain any time. If I went flat out through the bus stop, I would have gotten a massive penalty.

How you know what cars have 4 cylinders and can I filter them?

The main way I knew was by entering the lobby and seeing which cars were available. Also, if you remember what engine the car uses, that’s another option.

Imagine pushing the last and slowest car to the front! 😛

Although if you can get a Prelude to do 200mph. You can call it whatever the hell you want.

Im pretty sure it makes the car much more stabe and predictable because it no longer wants to roll through corners. Seems very few can be set for too much which would extend the outside suspension. Basically trading some grip for lots more control and predictability This also drives me nuts 😂
