Our kids working on two honors 1. tents - prep equipment day coming up when we test all equipment. 2. Travel plus Travel Advanced - since they can start thinking of what it takes to prep for long trip camp.

I remember you mentioned in a comment that you bought really strong/sturdy/long stakes for your tents but I didn't see those in on Amazon or Walmart list. That’s a great idea! Single serve drink packets are on our packing list for each kid.

Great video, thanks for posting and for sharing the Amazon list! Did you have a recommendation for LED light strings to illuminate the kitchen area at night? Was thinking to run these from some sort of solar panel. Just wondering if you have already looked into this. Thanks! Also wanted to share, the Camporee website noted that there will be cactus and Bighorn sheep droppings through the camp sites, and advised to bring foldable shovels for dropping or cactus removal. :)

We have rechargeable lights that are also magnetic. They stick right to the metal poles of our canopy tents. I’ll try to find a link. We’ve had them for awhile.

Nice video I love it so much hopefully I could see you at the camporee ! One suggestion well that’s my opinion but the kids should enjoy the trip and, in my opinion, you should let them rest during the trip, right? ( Books 📖 ❔🤓)And when they get to the camporee now they do the work and all the responsibilities they need to do. Not to offend but that’s my opinion . Seee ya there 👋🏼🫂🫂✨

We are going to put it in our trailer and run an extension cord. We have been told we will have access to water and electric at our camp.

electrolytes would be a good addition. Gillette, is about 4,000 in elevation, and need to keep them hydrated and with electrolyes.

Yes! Definitely a necessity. On our packing list for each kid is drink mix packets like Liquid IV.
