I assure you, you won't regret anything

via SKZ I found BTOB, there is room in my heart for both, they all make a fabulous music.

Btob's vocals are superior!!! Even their raps have emotions!

*Its 2024 and I've just realised how emotional this song is after finally reading the lyrics to this song* 🤯 This song is about losing a lover. They started off feeling sad and lonely after losing their lover, reminiscing the times when they were with their lover, which resulted them to pray silently in their heart. Then during the bridge, the emotions they feel intensifies and they talked about how they feel so helpless to the point where they can't help but shout out loud and pray 3:08. Thats why there was an explosion of emotions which felt so vulnerable and chaotic, which accurately depicts how a person feels after messing up a relationship. They will gather emotions like, sadness, regret, bitterness, helplessness, discomfort and yearning until they reach a tipping point where they can't take it anymore and explode. The artistry in this song is SO DAMN POWERFUL. *Im Hyunsik you genius, always leaving me in tears with your songs* 🥲

Especially when BTOB themselves wrote and composed this song. The lyrics, vibe and rap/vocals required for this song definitely suits BTOB better. Other than that, I think SKZ did such an amazing job rearranging the song to make it their style 👍🏻I seriously don't think any other group can cover AND perform this song as creatively and skilfully as SKZ did 💙

Theres minhyuk and elkie praying and then Minhyuk tied up , elkie Smirk.. sungjae : ( interrupted) and theres a moon on your head ( looking at Peniel head , all members laughing) Peniel: yeah yeah ( smiling at sungjae) Illhoon: ohh i guessed your not used to korea culture Peniel : I guessed not.. (members are laughing) Eunkwang: its because the scene were filmed not in order... Illhoon: you can explain seriously. Eunkwang: me, btob members are in one team Minhyuk: in a club ( members laughing) Eunkwang: a club? Team... a group Sungjae: in a BB gun club ( laughing) Other member: yeah yeah BB gun club... survival tactic gun club (laughing) Eunkwang: yeah, we contact our opponent and get to a survival battle. yeah the one who composed this song is Hyunsik, he's a music genius. hyunsik compete with 2800 applicants, beat the odds of 600:1, and got accepted to howon university for applied music which is one of the top 3 best prestigious uni in korea.

Yes I love this song for that elements too. It gives so much intensity in the ginal chorus it literally puts you at the edge of your seat while the song reaching it's ending! What a strong masterpiece!! It's been so long since I heard a song like this one and I kinda missed it but I think I found another song that used the similar kind of style for the final chorus, maybe you wanna check out Astro - Knock. I thought the final chorus felt great too with the rap layered with a vocal for the final chorus! Great intensity can never get enough!

The rap and Vocals of this group are seriously amazing! each one of them is so talented! Can't pick a bias

SKZ version was raw, rebellious and filled with anger because they were symbolically fighting for Hyunjin and mourning his absence. They even changed the lyrics and took out the parts mentioning the girl because for them it wasn’t about a girl. And they even had a young boy in the performance that resembled Hyunjin in his childhood. Their concept was that they prayed and prayed for the return of the boy who was turned to stone but their prayers were not answered, so they made a deal with the devil and sacrificed all their lives in return for his, so that he could be alive again. The original version by BTOB is filled with sorrow. So the vibe is way different from the one that SKZ performed on Kingdom. The original is so very beautiful of course. It’s quite refined and smooth. But to me, both versions hit different.

I'll Be Your Man is one of the best KPOP songs in my opinion, truly a masterpiece! Glad you liked both the original and the cover SKZ did, as you said, they're very different. One thing I love about BTOB's music is that they write such relatable songs. They may say "girl" in their songs but they write their lyrics so it can be interpreted as a friend, a family member or a partner, hence why SKZ could do a very different version of the story. Love it!

@@abrokenraft9378 he was on hiatus. Someone from his school had accused him of bullying from back when he was a student. That’s why Hyunjin was asked to leave the company (JYP) and it was uncertain whether he would return or not. KPop industry takes bullying very seriously. Later his school authorities cleared the allegations to be false and even his old classmates and teachers supported him. Even then he talked to the person who put the accusations and apologised. He did some community services too. He returned several months later. His company did not support him and this happened when they had just begun their participation in Kingdom competition. He only could perform the first round and was immediately dropped because of the allegations. So his teammates were heartbroken and furious because they believed in his innocence. And they felt betrayed by their own company who didn’t give any effort to help Hyunjin. They thought they lost him forever.

I still so miss Ilhoon and he was the best rapper out of any group to me. I hate rap music but when I find amazing rappers I don't mind listening to them. For me it started with Minho (Shinee) RAVI Ilhoon then JinJin and Rocky (Astro) Wyatt (ONF ) Felix (Stray kids) Hongjoong and Minigi (Ateez) . None of them are my fave... they all are! BTOB without Ilhoon to me is BTO. Ilhoon being the last B is missing now.

I am a STAY and I was one of those Kpop fans that always thought that BTOB could only sing Ballads. After a few episodes of Kingdom, I listen to BTOB at least once a day, I already have a bias (it's minhyuk or huta btw, because I felt in love for his voice before I heard him rapping) and I can't stop watching their funny videos. I can say that I am ot7 stan of this amazing group!! Fighting melodies :)
