If you didn't notice, J-hope used to wear a mask in the debut days because he was deemed "ugly." Overtime, he took off the mask and started showing his face. This scene is supposed to symbolize J-hope's tough times and how he faced them and overcame them.

I feel like this symbolizes two things 1. Hobi finally shedded his mask and being his true self and 2 RJ (Jin) next to Mang (Hobi) because they're going to be in the military together. I hope our boys stay safe, eat well, and never forget Army will be waiting for their return. 🥺🥺🥺

Why does it feel like hobi had a breakthrough that led to (and reflected) mang’s face reveal? so proud of you hobi 😭 the temporary break on group activities to pursue solo ones was clearly a difficult change for bangtan, but as they also said, it’s their path for growth now. i’m just so proud of them 😭

it's because he did in real life. during BTS's debut, he wore a mask (you would notice it in their debut song No More Dream) because he was considered "ugly." But he stopped wearing it as he gained more self confidence. This episode represents that time.

Just like how Mang always has RJ’s shoulder to lean on, Jin hyung will always have Hobi’s back 💜 now that they’re going to meet one another in the military, I hope that they know that we are always here waiting and supporting them. I loved the fact Mang has the courage to take the mask off now. What I didn’t expect was the tears rolling down my face upon seeing the reveal and the symbolism of RJ being the one there with him after he takes off the mask 🥺😭. Hobi was my first bias in kpop and Mang was and is my favorite and I’m so emotional right now.

This is so heartwarming. I really adore BT21. Mang has a special place in my heart because they are such a unique character. I absolutely love Mang with and without the mask.

This is my favorite episode... The warmth he felt from the sun and being his true self had me in tears. It also made me feel like J-Hope will have Jin when he leaves. Kudos to the people behind this.

We now see what we already knew, that MANG is not just beautiful inside, but outside as well. I am smiling and crying at the same time. Thank you J-HOPE for giving us this ray of sunshine and hope. What adventures lie ahead for that little cutie and his band of brothers. Can`t wait to see all the members together in 2025, once more united. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

NO, that's NOT TRUE. Please don't spread lies. He didn't wear that mask because he was deemed ugly; he wore that for aesthetic purposes for the concept of their album as directed by Bang PD. It is on their interview in MNET. This concept you are saying doesn't make sense cuz how can he even debut if it was deemed ugly. He got so many fans and popular already even debuting as bangtan so don't believe everything you watch on YT or Tiktok. There is no PROOF that what you are saying is correct.
