I usually preferer black but the white looks a lot better than the black one with this controller

Yes, it is not just white + black, but white + orange, so it gives a more unique feel.

I don't like the placement of m1 and m2, aren't they sometimes clicked on accidentally?

By default, it is a Bluetooth connection, but you can add a 2.4 dongle as an option.

What's the difference with the d8? What are we paying extra for? Thanks if you answer cause I'm deciding between controllers for my emulatuon rn.

The d8 pro has micro switch buttons, extra shoulder buttons you can remap, a swappable d-pad, motion controls, and a more comfortable grip shape. It also has both playstation and xbox symbols on the buttons, while the d8 just has xbox. Both models use hall effect sticks and triggers, and they run on the same firmware, so they’ll work with all the same stuff. The d8 pro sells for about $35 on aliexpress and the d8 sells for about $20. TLDR: the d8 pro is a wider, more luxurious, more tactile version of the d8 that costs 15 dollars more.

The PRO is the longest controller I think that exists, maybe? If you're prepared to peel off the grip pads on each end, it will accommodate a12.7 inch tablet. I haven't found anything else that will do this. Fully extended, the controller feels fragile, but is fine when gripping the tablet. Also, yes, micro switch buttons. They're clicky, which is annoying, but they feel great. I've got both controllers and the pro seems like it has a lot of improvements.
