I'm aiming for maitreyi college for bsc zoology hons as it is in close proximity to my home. Do I still have to prefer North campus in my list or can I make maitreyi the top priority and then the North campus? Will doing the latter be an issue? Just want to be on the safe side

Same query. I live in south moti bagh and these colleges r very close and north college r very far compared to. And my marks r not top notch so is not it better to add maitreyi at top than any north campus. And I am even planning to not even add north colleges.

@@nishakushwaha3973 but I think life sciences provide you with wider spectrum of opportunities. Unless zoology which is limited to one subject that too thoroughly. Upsc doesn't take a thorough investigation of your optional.:) + Zoology has more practical work in DU as I got to know from some seniors. You'll end up wasting the whole day in lab and lab work doesn't count in optional. It's completely your choice. You'll get zoology hons in a good college and life sciences too😊 But it's upto you

Loved your videos for biology:) Another thing to ask is like life sciences course is for 3 years without honours degree if a student enrolls in it and can he do honours degree for bsc life sciences according to NEP please reply to this question I think most of us have the same doubt.

in du life science is program cource so it is of 4 year in 4 year you can decide in which subject you want honours

if the student has good marks and a good attendance score then college will allow the person to pursue 4th yr and get honours (which will allow the said student to pursue phd directly if they want to).. hence the simple answer is " your performance will decide whether you will be allowed to pursue 4th yr or not" hope it helped
