I've now put the BSA one back on too.

I've just ordered one of these. They've replaced the end bush with an air splitter that makes the whole shroud active. Should knock a few dB off.

Had the same problem when fitting a shroud to my R10, the gap. My scope is the ATN 4k Pro and was catching on the shroud when trying to focus. I cured the problem with a couple of Sportsmatch risers.

This kit appears to loose at least half of the moderator volume, with the barrel Bush? Understand why it's there, centralising the sleeve, but all the space behind this, to the breach, is lost? Enjoyed the review though! Regards

I've got the ratworks shroud fitted on mine and it's far superior in terms of noise reduction compared to the Bsa..your equipment wasn't very scientific to fair was it..

There's something seriously wrong with that suppressor I just dry fired my R10 177 in doors with a John Bowkett 18 inch reflex suppressor and the max DB i got was 63 !!l at 30 cm from the barrel and that's indoors in a closed room with no pellet in the barrel which would be quieter. when you get a chance is there any way you could film The component parts that make up that suppressor so we can actually see if it's got o-ring gasket seals at the top and bottom and if the barrel support the bit you screwed into the end of the barrel has actually got holes in it to allow the air to flow backwards into the rear of the Chamber which is how a reflex suppressor actually works. is it a mono block inside or is it K baffles and are they removable and if they / it are what is the diameter of the out walll of that carbon fibre tube because I will print you some parts up that will work a damn sight better for the inside guts thats what's in there now

They are made up by the Guys At The RatWorks. So I have no idea. Could it be that I am only useing an app rather than a proper DB meter?

I would suggest an actual DB meter, if only to eliminate potential issues with the apps I've tried apps in the past for silencer testing and didn't find them reliable or accurate in any way.

I won't go into the details. But communication even on the smallest detailed is a must. The finish quality of the product deserves this. As it is very well made, and looks in my opinion nice.

animals and humans hear different frequency levels. so dropping th dB for human ears can possibly increase to an animals ears. it is the harmonics that effect it. listen to some sound moderators and some air rifles themselves? they actually ring like a bloody tuning fork..🤔🙄 human hearing is average is from 20 hz - 20 khz (20 to 20,000 Hz).. a rabbit can hear is from 96 hz-49 khz (96 - 49000 hz).. rabbit will hear sounds between 1,000Hz-16,000Hz the best, with sounds outside of this window being heard with less clarity.

this is a false test 1. this is the sound you hear at the source 2. the decimate test is beside and behind the source and not down range of it.. 3. there is alot of echo and and ambient noise. 4. i feel phone app decimetres are not a true designed tool for the job they are another gimmick.. phone mics are not designed the sme s a true decimetre..

Not a science project, and now having use it for a long while taken it off and gone back to the BSA.

That's picking up the pellets biting back stop I recon it be around 70 75 ! But not worth it mounts and the shroud .

Gone back to the BSA version, as i have had people listen in person and none can tell the difference..
