BSA Gold Star is a cruiser bike with a starting price of Rs 3.50 Lakh. It is available in India in 1 variant and 2 colours with high end variant price starting from Rs . Gold Star is powered by a 652 cc BS6 engine which develops a power of 45.6 PS and a torque of 55 Nm. It has Disc front brakes and Disc rear brakes. The weight of BSA Gold Star is 213 kg and comes with a fuel tank capacity of 12 l.
We received a media invite from Classic Legends which hints at the BSA Gold Star launch in India this Independence Day, on August 15, 2024. After launch, the Gold Star will go up against the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Here’s how they compare.
The BSA Gold Star is a true-blue retro roadster with a classic fuel tank an offset cap, pinstripes, flat bench seat, minimal side panels, and generous use of chrome. The Gold Star uses a 652cc single-cylinder, 4-valve DOHC liquid-cooled motor developing 45.6PS at 6000rpm and 55Nm at 4000rpm. This motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

Everything is ok but missing 6th gear is a deal breaker . I owned a Harley 1200 sportster for 2 years but the missing 6th gear was a nightmare on the highway . Eventually switched to BMW GSA and still riding it 4 years later

No showroom no servicing no network of nothing. This is the 3rd offering from the classic legends , Jawa and Yezdi are already selling their classic segment and everyone knows how poor the sales no. are. 1) The 350cc segment is heavily dominated by REs and they are now offering the BSAs in 650cc. Entering directly into this segment without any previous bike and all is 🙄. 2) 650cc and single cylinder. Why? This is counted as middleweight or premium segment. If talking about REs, they are defining it in a completely different way. They are offering power looks and most imp part here, more than 1 cylinder, in minimum price. 3) Twin cylinder looks different, give weight for that segment to balance bw power and weight, vibration & heating control, and most imp here, the exhaust note it produces, which completely segregates it from commuters. 4) And again REs have flooded the market with 650s with different ergonomics and engine tuning. Either they are super late or they are super confident about their product. Let's see 😐

@@RajKishore-pc6gf do u know why re Himalayan 450 was launched 1 year ahead bcz of the fear of yezdi adventure... And moreover the time when re entered market with full commercial ad that time everyone was focusing on sports bike but re was about be closed they tried last and succeed.. and from that moment they are the market leader in India for classic bikes.. and thus without any competition ruled and became king...
