The Majors need LIV players to be relevant. That’s why they are handling out invites to 6 LIV players for this major. The Master did that too. Like it or not, that’s the reality. Who wants to watch if all the best golfers aren’t playing.

PGAT should be barred from all majors. They're the ones who caused all the division. LIV was supposed to just be a few elevated events. They even offered to let PGAT run it. Only one to blame at this point is PGAT. edit: Note that this comment is mostly sarcasm. I don't think any players should be banned. PGAT is banning players and that is just pure evil IMO.

What a great way to kill the game of golf. Let’s ban non PGA players from tournaments not owned by the PGA because they joined a rival tour. With the state of the game, the majors are absolutely exhilarating this past year, best players coming together at the best tournaments.

If you honestly were to ask yourself, “If someone came into my job and offered to pay me 5-10 times more for doing the exact same job, would I take it?” Guarantee you’d be on the LIV tour if they offered you a spot at this level of competitive work. LIV or PGA, it’s not about honor or prestige, it’s a business. They deserve to show they can compete and be better than the “loyalist” PGA players who turned down offers. If the PGA player field was so much superior, why do these LIV guys continue to make lower scores consistent? End of debate
