I knew this kid was special when I first seen him at Mater Dei. Started following his growth, watching him after he transferred to Mater Dei after his sophomore season. Kid never disappoints, always humble, cool, and collective. Parents raised a great Godly young man, he knows his savior, he knows how to work for what he wants. Super happy and proud for him, his family, and Tide nation. Roll Tide!

Classiest speech I’ve ever heard from the winner of this prestigious award. Love the humility he showed and the quick to the point message he gave. He is very articulate and I can tell his parents raised him well. Nice to see dad get some love first! Very rare that dad is spoken of first in these moments. Lastly, I wish him the best. He’s blessed and everyone around him is truly blessed to have him 👏

I love the way he gave honor to God and how he recognized that his team helped him get there.

No, you aren’t the only parent. I wish ALL parents, including myself, were as supportive of their children as Bryce Young ‘s parents are of him. When a new player comes to Alabama, no matter how highly rated he is, he does not begin his college football career as a starter. Coach Saban wants them to learn the PROCESS. I heard Bryce mention that he was surprised that he would not start. He spent his first year as a backup learning from Mac and the other players and coaches. Not only will he make a great NFL QB he will be able to lead others to success.

I think there is a good chance he will win it again next year.

Good kid- well deserved, and those other 3 finalists as well.

@@jamesrobinett2503 you are just a hater, not only did Byrce have more passing yards and more tds than the Ohio state Qb Byrce contributed to the success of his team much more than the ohio state Qb, Byrce led a very young inexperienced team all the way to the NC. Nothing biased about it Byrce was the best player and had the most impact of any player this year.

Love seeing a class act like Bryce Young win the Award. Great representative for college football.
