Too many untouched blockers running free. Then at the end on the 3rd and goal they initially have only 2 receivers running routes. 8 blockers to try to stop the pressure! TMJ was initially blocking, could've got open but he held his defender instead of letting him run towards Bryce and then the defender changed his mind and stayed on TMJ leaving none of the 3 route runners open. Just awful. They need to figure out something to do to avoid these 3rd and long situations. Stop running the ball up the middle for 1.7 yards so often. Bryce started 9/14 in the first half with multiple passes hitting his receivers in the hands. 2nd half he went 16/18. There's gotta be a better option than a run for 1 yard when the QB is throwing that accurately. It just blows my mind that a QB can have 89% accuracy in a half and his drives end in 3rd & 8, 2nd & 17, 3rd & 8, 3rd & 8, 3rd & 18. Open up the playbook or find a different playcaller.

Drafting him first overall just for these to be his plays is inane

Definitely bryce’s best game yet as a thrower first drive should have been a tud but his recievers can’t catch balls hitting them in the hands also half of his play calls being wr screens and not allowing him to push the ball down the field, bryce is not the problem in carolina nor is the defense, poor execution in the redzone was this teams problem today carolina is looking better week after week but its gonna take a min before they get a win

Hekker is the best player on the team, and the kicker can hit 55+ yarders so not all is lost. The fans can look forward to booming punts and long field goals all season with a defensive td thrown in here or there 😂😂😂

O line is garbage. Miles Sanders is butt cheeks. This is why 3/4 of the passes are WR screens, they work better than running the ball. Young has talent, no question. Just have to get him help with the 1st pick of the draft next year. Oh wait, they don’t have one.

Bryce young played awesome for the playcalling and weapons he has. YGM and chark better get ready because devante adams is coming to town and that playcalling better get right

This offense line definitely needs some alignment. And the head coach is calling?

Wow. I watched the game and felt like Bryce didn't do that well... then after watching this... he was actually pretty darn good! His WRs dropped TWO touchdowns. His Oline was letting rushers in untouched. Not to mention Reich's absolutely EMBARRASINGLY BAD playcalling. Panthers have to start passing on first down. We have no run game. Fitterer made a serious mistake not resigning Foreman and going with Sanders.

You should have stuck to your original belief. He was terrible he has two drops all season and those went drops the pass to Ian Thomas was thrown behind him and the other pass was knocked away. Other than that he doesn’t look to push the ball down field that’s why he missed Adam19 on a zig zag route for a td. For him to not have a td is because of his bad ball placement and lack of aggressiveness.

Trade for a bigger RB and fast WR start pounding the ball some. Then use some playaction downfield.

Someone tell Frank Reich to let Bryce throw more than screens or that behind the line of scrimmage BS. He isn't even that bad the few times he was allowed to throw I'm a Texans fan, but this kind of offense would hurt any young QB.

Not trying to be a hater by any means, but I see a lot of comments saying Bryce looks good. What am I not seeing? I understand they have offensive issues overall including the O-line blocking but Bryce's throws (something that is in his control) look really bad to me. 80% of his throws seem to lack speed/strength which really limits the receivers ability to get yards after the catch, not to mention how much easier that makes them to intercept; on top of that when he throws the ball seems to be quacking with how much it's moving, rarely a nice crisp spiral. Again not trying to be a hater, just genuinely confused with what everyone else in these comments seem to be seeing.

I see what you see, especially after doing C.J. Stroud videos. That being said, I saw enough of Bryce in college to know what he is capable of. I think O-coordinator needs to open up the offense a bit more for us to truly make an evaluation.

@@NFLStudy hahah ya exactly, I actually watched your C.J. Stroud vid first as I was looking at picking him up on my fantasy but hadn't actually seen him play really so your vid was perfect! Then at the end I saw your Bryce Young one and decided to watch that as well and ya the difference seemed immense (in favour of Stroud). To your point though, he could definitely find another gear and step up to the level everyone hoped he'd be at if a few changes are made to allow that growth.

its only preseason - optimistic panther fans that hide from reality . we suck , bryce sucks , cj stroud is a legend , mccaffrey is a hall of famer . we are a farm team we build players up and then trade them for bare min for them to be all stars on other teams , your welcome other teams your farm teams will give you a discount on a super star player that will help you win many many games while we embrace the suck year after year . could of had mccafrey and dj moore still but panthers suck .

@@SFBay69 If that’s your take after allegedly watching the games in full, then either a) you’re biased or b) you don’t know anything about football.

Despite the loss, Bryce is looking like the best QB in his draft by far. He was unstoppable, just had some bad luck. He's playing like Mahomes, easily top 10 QB in NFL right now. Far superior than Stroud. Panthers made right decision picking him over Stroud, who looks like an average QB at best.

How does that make sense? The better QB has the better performances. The better performer is the better QB, and that is Stroud. Not to mention Strouds entire OLine except for right tackle is injured, some positions down to 3rd string.
