I'll never forget Josh Hamilton hitting 28 home runs, many of which were over 500ft. Greatest derby ever. This one is awesome too though. Sad that I missed it till now.

Amazing Bryce. Glad to have you in a Philly uniform. Sad so many people don't understand this guy isn't a for average hitter. He simply kills. Nats fan here. We all know he hasn't had a good season. That's why they play 162 games, though. I really wonder if the Capitals/VGK thing put a bit of a split with his teammates - at least, in his own mind. Well, after seeing Scherzer and Doolittle out there cheering him on, I'm hoping for good things in the rest of the season.
I love Harper. He's one of my favorite players in the Major Leagues. And I'm happy that he took home the trophy.

You cant rig a derby. See that official behind Harper? Yeah he says when he can pitch and not pitch or he gets DQ So unless they paid those two random people fat cash then it wasnt rigged by Harper or his dad. Blame the officials A.K.A the umpire which ironically was making bad calls even in a derby.
Probably one of the best HR derbys I've ever watched.

I got a chance to meet him and Stephen Strasburg, when they were playing for the Washington Nationals together against the Tigers, they were really nice guys, very respectful very cool dudes both of them we’re very Ginuwine down to Earth guys so whether he looked like a jerk on the field, it was probably because he didn’t like a call from the umpires or opposing fans taunting him, I mean he is a very nice and cool guy
Harper has a majestic swing and is a good guy, he's a true role model for anyone to look up to.

This is a home run derby NOT distance derby. Who cares what happened LAST YEAR! Schwarber hit the most homers this year with 55 total blasts. Then Harper arrived with 45 shots. In the final round Harper won it. Won with a walk-off by one shot.

My favorite part is when he hit the ball
I will say first aside from the rule break, it was impressive by Harper how he finished. However, with there being a timer now instead of the old 10 outs, following the rule waiting for the ball to hit the ground should 100% be followed. If that’s ignored that’s no different than a player hitting bombs but surpassing the old 10 out rule to let’s say 13 outs. As impressive as that round may be the rule is still broken 👌🏽
