BRYCE CANYON Hoodoos Hiking + Valley of Fire & The Wave Lottery | Utah Travel

Bryce Canyon National Park in Southern Utah is home to one of the most incredible landscapes I have ever seen. We spent one day hiking through the Bryce Canyon hoodoos from Bryce Point to Sunset Point. This is considered some of Bryce Canyon best hikes.
Our one-day hiking through Bryce Canyon was not nearly enough to experience one of the most beautiful National Parks in Utah, but it did make me appreciate Bryce Canyon hikes so much more!!
Have you ever been to Bryce Canyon? If so, please comment tips on the best things to do in Bryce Canyon for the next time we visit, and for others who want to hike this beautiful National Park!
Valley of Fire is also an incredible destination, only about an hour drive from Las Vegas. The Valley of Fire State Park is also home to a wild and unique landscape of red rocks and beautiful terrain.
As you can see from the travel vlog, we also had the opportunity to test our luck at The Wave Lottery in downtown Kanab, Utah.
The Wave is one of the most famous landmarks in the region, and is a travel photographer's dream.
Unfortunately, we were not lucky in The Wave Lottery, as there are only 10 permits granted each day in-person, and another 10 granted 4 months in-advance from an online system.
We will most definitely be back to try The Wave again, and I will most definitely return to Bryce Canyon and The Valley of Fire! I need to experience more of the National Parks in Utah!
Next up Bryce Canyon to Zion National Park!

That's not right. Is 16 spots or 4 groups(Won't have to be more than 16 people in the 4 groups) however comes first. Highly recommended to at least have group of 4 people. If only 1 or 2 people want to apply they can always partner up with somebody for more chances. Fridays the % tongey permits are higher. Since they raffle spots for 3 days. Sat, Sunday & Monday

STRONG RECOMMENDATION for those with kids or who maybe aren't the strongest hikers (like me): Start your hike into the canyon at Sunset Point and work your way back to Sunrise Point. I say this because Sunset Point is MUCH STEEPER than Sunrise and it's a bear to climb up to Sunset Point when you're ending your hike. Much better to go down steep and work back up more gradually. Either way, it's beautiful and the scenery is spectacular. I cannot stress this enough, though: Go counter-clockwise. You'll be glad you did.

Any spots in Bryce you wanted to see but didn’t end up making? I’ve done Zion multiple times and am doing a solo Utah 5 this Tuesday. I’m planning a 3-4am angels landing hike, knock that out then head to Bryce to hike for the rest of the day + vista points. All before heading out and boondocking as i get towards Capitol reef!

The video is posted a few weeks ago but I am wondering when did you visit Bryce and Zion?... because I don't see any winter snow in Bryce.

Whoop whoop!...you drove thru my town! I think I was one of the people that suggested Valley of Fire to you!!! There’s also Red Rock Canyon, next time? And...I love Cappriottis!! Glad you enjoyed Valley of Fire. Didn’t you say you had to use a filter to tone it down because it was so red that it looked fake??? Bryce Canyon is one of my favorite parks too!! Anyway...hope you check out and sub to my channel too “OffTheStrip”

That's not right. Is 16 spots or 4 groups(Won't have to be more than 16 people in the 4 groups) however comes first. Highly recommended to at least have group of 4 people. If only 1 or 2 people want to apply they can always partner up with somebody for more chances.
