So true. I remember when he played a big set @Club UN, Midsummer's Night Fever, he mashed it up. Kool FM for me was were it was at. So grateful to have experienced and witnessed the birth of this scene. Big up all the old school ravers that are still about knocking on 40 and 50 plus.

When you're actually in the rave, usually intoxicated, you don't have time to nitpick on mixing skills, blends etc - so I really don't see the point of doing so on the internet? But that's just me, I'm not really a Sofa Raver.

Did you listen to Bryan Gee's show after Brockie & Det late night on Sunday/early Monday morning. Kool FM was the lick also IC3 was on there back in the day. Bryan Gee was on pirate radio for over a decade week in week out. Legend.

@@timllmixit I used to be a vinyl bedroom DJ (and did a few clubs and bars with my pals and loads of parties as well BITD) so trust me, I know all about beat matching. CDJ's have a sync button and rock solid pitch controls (unlike record decks). Even if some one decides to 'go live', i.e. un-synched, there's still a BPM readout! I've used CDJ's.....trust me you shouldn't clang! Especially 2 mixes on the trot! Anyway, Bryan was dropping some heavy riddims so it don't really matter....I ain't hating, just making a point!

It could have happened because he didnt sync, or he didnt pitch the tracks properly, maybe he doesnt check the display, or simply a bad copy of the track that syncs out for whatever reason, it can happen to the best of us!
