    Super sick like always! I have a question, do you use a single bind for taunt or do you hold 3+4 and then press 1? Thanks! 🎉

  • @LawFury

    @LawFury

    3 ай бұрын

    Thanks, my man! I use the buffer method by holding 3+4 (It's mapped to my R1 trigger on the DS4 controller) and then pressing 1. It's the way I learned to taunt in T7, and somehow I didn't like the idea of switching over to a one-button taunt. I'm also not sure if I can taunt dash as fast using the DS4 controller triggers than just tapping the 1 button with my thumb. I might be wrong here though because I think learning to taunt with one reliable button could be of more benefit for your overall performance, because you reduce the amount of missclicks that can happen if you try to taunt without buffering the buttons and you don't have to rely on buffering buttons anymore. You just have to check if you're able to taunt dash at the speed you want to. I wanted to test this out myself as well and wanted to use the 1 button bind for a few days or so, just to get a better feeling and opinion on this. Anyway, I think the 1 Button bind is overall superior to buffering from a theoretical standpoint. The only thing that will vary from player to player is just, do you feel comfortable using the triggers for taunt dashing or would you rather use the 1 button for taunt dashing. (Even though taunt dashing isn't that important of a technique for succeeding with Bryan) Hope this wasn't too long of an explanation haha

    Your combos are absolutely insane man. Do you practice them for every situation or is it more of an intuition thing?

  • @LawFury

    @LawFury

    3 ай бұрын

    Thanks man! It's mostly intuition for me. I usually just hit a Combo Launcher and then immediately kinda scan the surroundings like: where is the wall, where are stage interactables/hazards, how close am I to the wall, do I have heat, ... and then I just adapt everything that just suits the situation. Most of this I've got from Combo Practice and working on Combo Montages though.

  • @LawFury

    @LawFury

    Don't worry about that man. This is just fancy stuff im doing here. Just go for the easy db2 pickup routes. They are very reliable, do enough damage and will be a solid foundation for consistent and good combo damage. You got this! 😁

    Dude this is insane, the way you are able to adapt to any situation and pull off an optimal combo is mind blowing. How do you know so many combo routes? I'm also a Bryan main struggling in Raijin

  • @LawFury

    @LawFury

    3 ай бұрын

    Thanks, my man. I guess it comes from creating combo montages and practicing various combo routes in the lab that I'm able to perform them during matches. They only offer me a slight advantage though, so a normal BnB combo would already suffice without all the fancy stuff. The only keyword here is Wallcarry. this is my primary focus when going for combos with Bryan. You always want to reach the wall because that's where one mistake from your opponent can already win you the round. If you're already Raijin, then I'm sure you'll reach Tekken King as well with a few little improvements. Wish you good luck!

  • @LawFury

    @LawFury

    3 ай бұрын

    @@krishufc Kinda, but in my opinion it is more of a preference thing. A few months ago I used to play with the PS5 Pad, but after it broke after 3 months of usage I decided to go back to PS4 Pad. The PS4 Pad feels easier to press down, while the PS5 pad needs a bit more pressure to be pressed down. This is essentially also why I had thumb pain for the first 2 weeks playing with the PS5 Pad, because I had to use more force to press it down, than I was used to. This was my own individual problem though, I still think they both are great pads. Choose whatever you feel more comfortable with to be honest.

    any tips for getting bryan to fujin on a fundamental level?

  • @LawFury

    @LawFury

    3 ай бұрын

    Hmm what comes to my mind right now is probably: -Be unpredictable, try to not flow chart or keep the same attack patterns. This doesn’t necessarily mean to use all moves in the move list, but like always try to mix move patterns up a bit or use different timed attacks. -Analyze your opponent. This is very important always gather info. An example would be to check him with d4 and look how he reacts: if he sidesteps -> use ff4 next time / if he tries to jab check -> jet upper or back dash & punish with df2,1 / if he respects and stays patient -> break his ankles with hatchet kick or use b1 to pressure him with the frame trap. And that goes for all of Bryans moves. If he is unreadable and very random, always make sure to not play mind games with him just keep him check with the usual fast mid checks that Bryan has, after for example frame traps like b1. - Depending on your matchup don't let people come close to you for free, keep them out with 3+4, d4, orbital or push them back with qcb1. It's very risky to let characters like dragunov come close to you, cause that's where he becomes very lethal. So check that your opponent doesn’t enter your comfort zone. You wanna play at mid range (the range where 3+4 hits) and only when you want to pressure him you go into close range. -This might not be really a fundamental tip, but be sure to use grabs against people that spam moves with a powercrush property, because grabs beat those. And the other way around, don't be afraid to use Bryans powercrush at times (even though it's by far one of the worst in the game and you should probably not use it that much). If your opponent is constantly rushing you down, use your powercrush to get yourself out of those situations. (You will be able to immediately recognize someone who's whole gameplan is just pure rushdown attack mode). The same goes for rage art, use that thing if people are too predictably aggressive. -And lastly utilize your wall pressure at the wall and sidestep/sidewalk to keep them pinned there. Don't let your opponent escape the wall. That is your home, you become crazy strong there with Bryan. That's about all what comes to my mind right now. If anyone else has additional advice, feel free to share it! ^^
