Just picked mine up three days ago and I absolutely love it. Gorgeous looks and sound, great handling, and plenty fast enough for me. I can't stop grinning when I'm behind the wheel.

I know what you mean by ‘standard exhaust’, meaning it has no aftermarket system, but the gts comes with the Porsche Sport Exhaust, which is not standard on all cayman models. Great video👍

I have owned a 981 Boxster S with Sports exhaust for 8 years. It still excites every time I get in it.

Power to weight mixed in with low centre of gravity , making them 330 horses useable!! That’s why it feels faster 👍

Personally i wouldn’t be too bothered about straight line speed it just looks and sounds like a really fun car to drive 👌🏻

You were about to mention the light steering but got distracted. How did you find the steering? I've driven two and one felt incredibly well weighted (no PASM) and the other felt light and absent of any feel (this one had PASM) so I'm interested to hear your thoughts. Thanks for the video

Good review and you’re right about leaving the interior trim alone instead of adding the carbon stuff which would look too much The yellow trim is a nice bit of retro.

Maybe worn pads or fluid flush required?? OEM Porsche brakes are usually pretty good in terms of feel and stopping power....

If you don't like the pops and crackles note that Sports Plus will reduce it. Of course the car is in max attack mode then, so better shift manually or it will keep revs way too high for street. Note also it'll allow more slip angles.

I bet it's closer to 400bhp as porche have a habit of under selling the power and most of there cars once put on a Dyno out of factory develop more power , get him to let you do a Dyno video see what it's pulling 👍

Not a very torquey engine but when the revs are up there it’s quick enough, the long gearing makes it seems slower too.

Porsche brakes take some getting used to as they are progressive but unlike anything I’ve ever driven. They don’t instil confidence until you’re used to them then they’re very very good

I have never met a hairdresser who can afford a Boxster... because not many hairdressers can afford a 60-70K car on their 2.200 a month income, isn't it? That is only 10K less than a 911. So 911s are for hairdressers who received their annual bonus... oh you damn kids :)

I've driven the Boxster on test drive and was dissapointed. I think it's right what they say, it's a poor mans Porsche. I really wanted a Porsche and could only afford a used model in the dealership, in the end I went with a used Kia Stinger V6.

Did u drive the base version or an S or GTS? The base one would be a bit underwhelming in terms of performance I’d imagine. The 981 s or GTS ive heard is amazing to drive
