The true tea about Emma Chamberlains line is that it couldn't even be classified as a "petite line". Petite means more than fitting into a size small. It's supposed to be tailored to shorter legs torsos and shorter people. Petite can range from a size petite small to a petite large to extra large. Her line isn't a "petite" line it's a size small only line.

Shelby Ferguson I’m also super biased in the sense that I hate name brand things, it’s like they just throw a logo on something basic and suddenly it’s triple the price.. it divides the classes from personal experience I remember begging my parents for name brand clothes because it was the trend and you weren’t fashionable if you weren’t wearing them and that was just stuff like Aeropostale, Hollister, & Abercrombie and now I realize that those clothes weren’t even cute

To everyone in the comments talking about her sizing, you will literally be a different size for almost every different product line you purchase. I myself am normally a M/L in most brands I purchase but, many different brands I end up being an XL/2XL. It all depends. She more than likely is going off a numerical measurement and comparing the style and design of the clothes to her own body type. Also, a waist size is not your thigh size. So, while although she IS a M/L normally waist wise, she accounts for the design of the clothing for her thighs. Literally, every guy does the same thing- men’s thighs are normally larger than the true waist. Overall, I love her unbiased opinion of the clothing and that she appropriately buys for her style and taste. Side note, the hoodie belt combo looks FANTASTIC on you.

I ordered the Butterfly collection crewneck in my normal LG and it fits great. I ordered the hoodies in LG and they are dresses. I am super disappointed because now I have to return them all. They are 80% cotton and can’t find anyone commenting on if they shrink a ton...was tempted to keep one and try to. The medium fits just perfect but if it shrinks I’m screwed. The sizing between medium & large is an extreme diff. Did yours shrink a ton?

Love seeing curvy bodies in different clothes. It’s hard to think anyone above a size 4 will look good in certain clothes sometimes but you make it all look so effortless and make me feel better and more confident about branching out with clothes 🥰 love you gal!

Indistrial belts are actually supposed to be cut to fit your waist lol You can wear then long if you want, ofc. But theyre an old military style of belt. They're all the same size so its easier to mass produce for uniforms and you just cut it to whatever length you need to.

oml ppl, stop saying 'im a size medium, and she -" NO she can wear whatever she wants, it's her body, stop saying what size you think she should wear, some people prefer tighter fit clothing while others prefer loser she probably prefers more tighter fit clothing and there's nothing wrong with that. SadieJamesMagdaline oh my gosh, we aren’t trying to hate, and all of you guys need to understand that. She is affecting other people’s buying choices when she does that. She complains that the pants are too tight, and takes away points from that, when she’s not ordering the right size. If she preferred the tighter fit, she wouldn’t have said anything about it being so tight. Because of this video, people are probably going to go order a size up thinking that since she’s a M and it didn’t fit her, that it won’t fit them either. No ones hating on her, and we all love her, she just needs to be honest with herself. Or at least when she’s affecting the 600K subs she has :/

Im gonna say this because some of y'all obviously don't watch her videos. She wear's any where from a size L to xl 10-12. That's what she bought on his site and she followed the chart for size info. Why would she buy an 1x or 2x when she usually buys L any otber time? Mid size means she isnt yet plus size but normal sizes don't fit perfectly, like me. A Size M is to small, and large is sometimes to big and xl don't hardly ever fit. It really depends on that brands sizing. American eagle she wears a 10.. Which is a large, she ordered an xl and his merch still didnt fit. That's his merchs problem.

As a rule of thumb just assume a clothing brand/company isn't sustainable until they tell you other wise from what I've seen sustainability isn't an easy route. if a company puts in the extra work to make it so they'll make it part of their brand/story.

As far as those types of athletic “booty” shorts, Walmart’s brand athletica actually makes great ones! They even make some that are loose fit through the thighs for girls like me! Walmart’s newer brands like time and tru have some awesome stuff for curvy girls looking for inexpensive options 👌🏽

Killer Merch is transparent about being ethically sourced. I think the reason why Sisters Apparel doesn't make a statement is because, technically, they legally can't. They aren't allowed to speak on the manufacturing process and morals of another company unless given written/recorded permission. If you want to know if something is ethically manufactured, you need to look at the manufacturer, not the seller. Because, if I'm being completely honest, the seller doesn't have much say on how things are produced... all they can do is try to convince people to listen to them or switch companies. If you want to learn more about this from the side James would be on, Sylvia Gani recently switched merch companies and talks about it little by little in her videos

Great video! Love that you ordered a variety of sizes to see how the fit felt for you. People really don't get that sizing is not always about what "your size" is, but instead it's about the comfort level you feel for each size. I range between a size S-L or 6-14, it ENTIRELY depends on the clothing content, brand, style, and your personal comfort. Don't listen to the people who love to hate, because they don't seem to understand the complexity of sizing.
