These firing and shell sounds are amazing

Schabbs in the original was great but in this mod, *HE ACTIVATED CRAZINESS MODE*

Having played this as little kids when it came out, I can fully appreciate how beautiful this remake is in every way. Thus began my obsession with WW2

In Brutal Wolfenstein, the awake and death state sound effect were taken from some Wolfenstein 3d games like Wolfenstein 3d, Spear of destiny(including return to danger). Like the elite guard says: Awake state sound effect: "Schutzstaffel" in Wolfenstein 3d and spear of destiny. "Wer da?" In spear of destiny return to danger. Death state sound effect: "Mein Leben" in Wolfenstein 3d and spear of destiny. "Tod fürs Vaterland" in spear of destiny return to danger.

BJ: says high quality "EAT LEAD!" also BJ: low quality "YEAH!"

Probably the most impressive thing is the sound design. All the guns sound great

Some sounds were taken from Return to Castle Wolfenstein like the Luger and Kar98 firing sound effects and some of the voice lines of the Nazis are taken from RTCW also

american weapons were taken from medal of honor AA and gzdoom. german ones are from RTCW, same as most of basic soldiers quotes, but some are from original Wolf3D and its spinoffs. You can actually tell from which game the quote is by the quality of the sound track, original quotes sound more muffled, even in this gzdoom engine.

I love how they remake the levels to actually fit the description of the location.

I didn't expect 3 people said a wrong answer This is actually for Doom 2,and this mod recreates Wolfenstein 3D to look more brutal.

Ah, the beauty of guns and gore, just the way I like 'em.

You would think the German Army is smart enough not to hide huge supplies of ammo and health in secret spots that people can just look up.

I think that’s better in my opinion. also, not all maps look like this, most of the maps retain their original height somewhat, albeit it may seem weird since it’s in the Doom engine

Did the guys who made Doom Black make this? Cause the blood splatters and certain other effects look like it. Regardless, this is an awrsome mod job of a classic FPS.

It's a bug all i know is that you have to start a new game and with commands start that map so he can spawn :/

Tge lines were taken from Call Of Duty so I think you know the answer...

It seems like it uses the same weapons, functions, controls and sound files from "Return to Castle Wolfenstein" (2001). With additional sound files, sprites and other details taken from the "Spear of Destiny" expansion of Wolfenstein 3D. I'm not seeing any Doom 2 in the game at all, though.
