The paddock has reacted positively to MotoGP's 2027 regulations, although Joan Mir has acknowledged that the new bikes "will make riders' lives more difficult".
MotoGP made an announcement earlier this week about the technical regulations it will be introducing in 2027, the most notable of which is the move to 850cc engines.
The new regulations aim to reduce aerodynamic development and get rid of ride-height devices in order to increase safety and the on-track spectacle.

Removing aero then it’s totally a riders game…but downsizing the engine is not good GP bikes were always prototypes and the most powerful.

That is my only complaint!? Reducing the engine. Take away everything else, I have no problem with it. Go ahead tune down the speed & aero. But reducing the engine size.??? That 850cc engine is a bad idea 💡very bad. I think they should move the engine up, not down 🤔.!?? The 1100cc engine in motogp would be perfect. Like the street version, Aprilia rsv4 1100 ...

More cc= more top speed= unsafe for riders and general safety therefore it is being decreased till 2032

They tried reducing cc before and it soon went back up I don't really think reducing cc is the answer

They should of kept 1000cc engines,banned ride height gadgets but removed wings COMPLETELY so that riders can get the slipstream properly and that would have made for better racing. Oh,yes,that E(spit)peleta character should let someone else be in charge. He what,gave himself a chair untill he dies or doesn't wanna play no more. I mean,come on. Playing god or something.
