I'be never experienced this after using the G90 for about 5 years now. Neither with passive or active pickups.

I just got a G50 and its dead quiet switching pups & pots. You got other issues like dirty pots/jacks/switches or dirty AC. Have you tried Furman AC line filtering or an Ebtech Humex ?

I have the G50 and G90 (essentially the same). Never had this issue over four years. I have had dropouts, however.

How about you with these line 6 wireless? You’ve never drop out with these unit?

@@BagusWibisono I have had dropouts using the G50. I've owned two Relay G50 Receievers and still have two TBP12 packs. I've since moved to the G70 which is better in my opinion.

I have a G90 and a G10, no volume issues or pop sounds at all. Perhaps yours was defective

Could the static thing be due somehow to active pickups? Assuming that’s what you’re using.

+Timrs1989 Hey thanks for responding. It was the transmiter. I bought a new one yesterday and the unit has worked perfectly since. The first guitar I was using in the vid had passives and that one was creating the worst sound interferences. Thanks for watching!

sounds like you pots need cleaning. Did you check this issue with a guitar cable??

I'd be willing to bet you either missed an adjustment internal to the wireless unit Or You needed to get a noise gate!!! I can tell you like playing djent, metal etc... a noise gate (ISP Decimator, Rocktron Hush) will change your life!!!

That was my first idea. But what about a switching pickups? I have one guitar with only bridge humbucker. But I’d like to use others guitars as well... trying to find really good solution for a rack using.

When you buy something new it should work out of the box. If not, it's flawed. So my review stands.

3 year update: It was my transmitter. Lol I've stopped using wireless units however. I just prefer a strong cable connection.

Have you tired new 5ghz systems? Or even 2.4ghz systems where you can compare contrast them to this? I'm in the market for a wireless system and a g90 receiver is a available to me for about $100. Compared to $140 or so for 5.4ghz consumer system I'm on the fence

I've used mine for 7 years! Nada! 100% no issues! If I was you you'd better check the A/C ground on you rack! Your pot has a ground issue! You'd better get a tech & check your electricty!
