But you also have really powerful weapons added to your arsenal, together with basic Brutal Doom weapons you also get a Desert Eagle, Revolver, BFG10k, BFG Grenades, Submachine Gun and a brand new Sniper Rifle. All of the weapons also received an upgrades with alternate fire mode that has increased ammo consumption, like Sonis shells for Pump-Action Shotgun, Explosive Shells for Super Shotgun or SABOT Slugs for Assault Shotgun. Some of these upgrades can also deal way more damage to the player than to the enemies, for example never use Demon Tech Rockets when you are close to your enemies, this blast will most likely kill you quite fast. Extreme Terror map is divided in three sections which player has to explore - the main base on the surface of planet, deep underground section of the facility with really unstable core and as most of the times, the Hell itself. To enter the sub-level first you need to disable the safety lock, if you immediately rush there without disabling it, you will be poisoned and all the doors will shut, simply leaving you to die without a possibility to return. You will have to find and use a yellow and blue keycards scattered across the base, you can also find 6 secrets in this area - twice you will have two secrets really close to each other, remaining two secrets are a Megaarmor and Soulsphere. Once you enter the sub-levels of facility with unstable core, there are additional 5 secrets to explore - your first early Plasma Rifle spawn, Soulsphere and Blur Sphere spawn, together with a Berserk Pack and Invulnerability sphere near core. The core is quite tricky because this is a part of the map where you can simply DIE without fighting, you need to reset the core's meltdown by pressing 4 switches in correct order - but be quick because you have only 20 seconds. When you return to the main base, Hell will reveal outside where was the blue keycard to find - jump to the portal and you will be teleported to the unknown area, prepare for the last minutes of fighting in Hell.

Assault shotgun is OP

Plasma-Minigun is the best thing i've ever seen in any brutal doom version since the begining that this Brutality began... You need to play with the Phase Plasma-riffle 40watts range from Terminator !

A detail this version of Doom have not and the original does have,is the shine of the surrounding each time you shoot.

@@ashwin.unlead I dunno, have you seen that bit around the 15-second mark where he goes around the corner and gets nearly killed in a microsecond? I've noticed from playing earlier versions of BD that the tradeoff for your weapons being so OP is that hitscanners are much more accurate, almost bordering on unfair, and all projectiles are way faster.

I downloaded the Brutal Doom v21 power fantasy mod but when you started a new game the enemies disappear and there are only 2 or 3 enemies on the maps

Question. Would you consider playing Okplok while using the Russian Overkill mod? I have yet to see anyone even try it.

its an add on for brutal doom. it basically overpowers the brutal weapons (which are already strong) a shit ton. it also has a few new weapons and enemies from the brutal doom monster expansion

The only reason you wouldnt use the assault shotgun is because you WANT a challenge

It's GZDoom zdoom.org/downloads , an advanced sourceport for Doom. For loading mods like Brutal Doom, I'd recommend ZDL, this is currently the most recent version of it: github.com/lcferrum/qzdl/releases/tag/3-1.1

@@michaelweller5470 well, I heard the creator of brutal doom has a decent computer, and I personally can run it well withs a windows 7. to get it, you have to go to moddb, and search up brutal doom. then download doom 1 and 2 along with a source port like gzdoom. then, you have to put doom 1 and doom 2 in the folder with gzdoom, along with brutal doom. then, its as simple as dragging brutal doom into the gzdoom exe and it should run

Those weapons are way too OP. Even a Baron of Hell didn't last a second. I guess I know the PF mod is meant to make things easier but I bet this must be boring to play when every demon dies as quickly as an Imp.
