Brussels Is Covered with Garbage. The Dirtiest City of Europe.
To my mind, no other city in Europe has so much garbage as Brussels: trash on almost every street, dead birds on the pavement, plastic packages flying in the air. In addition, there are many writings, graffiti on walls. Don’t get me wrong, I like this city, Brussels has lots of beautiful architecture, parks, and the locals are very friendly. However, the piles of garbage spoil the city's image.

With so many other European cities, just as heavily trafficked by tourists, having solved the garbage and litter problem, why doesn't Brussels follow suit? This is sadly shocking.

Brussels it's systematically suffering of bad administration, particularly in some municipality. it's very upsetting seeing a city receiving many investments and having potentials being run down like this. i live in the centre where works for renovation are running without proper planning so the main cultural attractions look dreadful. There is no care for public space.
How come this place is from a first world country?

Belgium is one of those bad 1st world countries its absolutely shocking how bad it is sometimes, the crime, the garbage and there are even slums scattered around the country. This problem is only getting worse and is staying unnoticed sadly.
I moved from Brussels to Antwerp. Best decision of my life. A whole different world.
