Brussels Airlines | A330-200 | Economy Privilege Trip Report | BRU-IAD |
Hey guys! I feel like I haven't done a proper trip report in a while so here you go ;) I hope you enjoyed and of course if you have ANY questions please comment and I will do my best to respond ;) This trip was taken on the 27 of July 2016 so It was kind of a while ago but the product is still the same but maybe some changes. Something great about this trip is that we got Economy Privilege for free! Since we booked our seats in front before economy privilege was announced we got it automatically, they said on their site they will be giving away free economy privilege seats to whoever already had seats in front or something like that. Or maybe they just gave them away but regardless we got them which was really nice of them ;) Anyway the flights was great! the food was more of a meh than a really good meal but I think its just my personal taste that got in the way of what they actually made (I DO NOT LIKE MUSTARD). Beside the main the rest of the food was really great! the pre landing snack after was also nice. The extra things you in eco Privilege are, Amenity kit, water bottle, really soft blanket (Btw it was the most comfortable blanket I have ever had), Chocolates after lunch and cookies. Also the seat width is bigger, the recline was insane btw and the legroom is improved a lot! I would strongly recommend Economy Privilege to tall people ;) Anyway that was my flight as always comments are welcome and see you next time! ;)

Really well laid out TRIP REPORT! It was entertaining, funny, and most of all, informative! I'm flying to Europe in just a few months and this definitely got me in the mood! Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.

Ay thanks a lot! Means a lot to have your opinion on this. Lately I haven't been motivated to post or edit but I saw one of your videos the other day and really got me motivated to start making videos again ;)
I've flown Brussels Airlines A330 twice from Brussels to Accra - the planes are somewhat tired inside being around 19 years old but perfectly adequate. Impressed with the airline, I thought the food on all four trips outstanding and the crew excellent. Will definitely use them again.

No they didn't - I believe the A330s I went on were around 17 - 19 years old so not really surprising. Seats could've been more comfy but perhaps that was just me. Crew were good flight was good

Agreed and yes, that was JFK.. It was cool to see if from that view as that's where I usually land. :)

I ADORE mustard .. :-) :-) (And I'm Belgian, grew up at the east side of Brussels) After the bombings, the rebuilt of the departure hall has been done in a record time. As far as I know there are still two security checks : first when entering the building as such (also for instance when coming up from the underground airport railway station), second (classic) when entering the departure zone. My last flight was to Barcelona, end of september. ("Domestic" EC-Shengen zone flight)

If you had an economy plus ticket you could have visited the bruair lounge in terminal B called the suite...
Didnt you get sparkling wine as your welcome drink? I did when I flew economy previledge once to Mumbai from Brussels. Indeed, more leg room, incline. But I think the food was the same as economy. I got a box of three Belgian chocolates when I arrived at destination.
Is it worth the upgrade?

What is the actual point of having domestic flights in Belgium? (Btw: Funny trip report ;) )

Domestic in Belgium means within the Schengen Area. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schengen_Area

go to the lounge they hav food and free wifi so u will be good 4 a long layover in the lounge
