Do you know if it is possible to connect the gl inet router to another router (which is the main router on the network) and then some how configure the gl inet router to see all other devices connected to the main router via the wire guard connection ?

You can connect it to another router. But I’m not sure what you mean exactly. If remote clients connect using wireguard to the brume 2 they will show up on the brume 2

@@SPXLabs id like to put the gl inet router after my isp provided router which has all my devices connected to it. What i am asking is there away to connect back to the gl inet router and be able to connect any device connected to the isp provided router?

Did you guys ever get this working? What did the other side use? Possible video showing in action?

It definitely works yes. The other side is using wireguard client as well but we haven’t started too much do to schedule conflicts. I’m on vacation for 2 weeks

do i need a public ip for this ? since i prefer using a commercial to remote access to my network since my whole network is connected to a commercial vpn

You will have to use the WAN/public IP that your ISP provides to you yes. Otherwise, you can make it a client to a commercial product and route all your local traffic through it. Just don’t ask me how because I haven’t done it.

@@SPXLabs Thanks for the reply , just what I wanted to confirm to be honest , my actual solution is using the meshnet of nordvpn on a mini pc and that mini pc acts as a home VPN which can be connected to from outside the network , the good thing about this method is that my mini pc is connected to a nordvpn ( the connection is vis Ethernet cable directly from the router ) so the meshnet will distribute the address of the mini pc ( operating system: windows ) so even when I. Am outside and I want to access to my local network or even browse the whole traffic is routed via nordvpn , without forgetting to mention that I installed docker desktop on the mini pc and I am running pihole on it so even outside my Network i am always AD FREE thanks to the meshnet .

Stupid question but would this let me use my home internet while traveling so I can watch sports on the xfinity app?

Just the wireguard app on your phone/computer/device to connect back to the brume 2. Then it’s…. Virtually 😎. No different than being at home. Maybe a little time googling if things aren’t working like you would expect and that’s probably it.
