A sweep worries me with how much time he'll have off between games. I hope if it goes that way he can still maintain this level of competitiveness. He's a pro so I'm sure he can, but you feel.

Pengroves On the flip side, that just means more time to recover while San Jose and St Louis beat the brakes off each other. That’s a physical series right there, much more than this one.

Some of these saves literally reminds me of Tim Thomas from 2011

@NowA NevA - Absolutely was a goal!!! Just because a goalie catches the puck in his trapper, doesn't mean it's a save. If that glove goes over that goal line - it's a goal! Everyone remember the puck into the netting, clearly out of play, yet counts as a goal against the Bruins in a 1 goal shutout for Tuukka. Bruins continue to battle their opponents, the on ice officials, as well as the league, and still continue to win! What an Awesome team!!! Go Bruins!

Great work as usual dafoomie. I think if the bruins can win this type of game then they can win the cup. I’ve never seen rask play like this before. You can tell he wants this bad. I would love to see him win the cup just to shut up the Boston media like felger and mazz.

The prophecy foretells that if the Foom appears 5 more times, the Bruins will win a great cup.

Can you believe it? The bruins are 22-1(5-0 in 2019) in the playoffs when the best player in the National Hockey League, Brad Marchand, scores a goal. MAN what a player that guy is. He can skate, hit, score, amazing vision, buzzing around like a hawk on the PK and PP. And yet all the delusional Boston haters/Bergeron fanboys refuse to recognize his greatness. Guy has the game winning goal and has to help kill off 10 penalties and doesn't even get on the three stars of the game. They gave it to a Carolina player, what a joke. Despite scoring 100 points, having the best +- as a forward on the team since 2011, having 26 SH goals(all-time leader in B's history) and being on the best PK line for 9 years, idiots will still say he's not the best on his team. LOL!!!! Let's get honest here, how many Cups and Selke's for Bergeron before Marchand came to town??? 0.

Chill out. It's a little creepy how much you like Marchand. He's one of my favourites as well... but he wouldnt be what he is without this team either. In fact, he'd probably be banned from the league by now. Bergeron and Marchand are a duo. Bergeron never got any respect at all before getting nailed by Randy Jones. His come back is what made people start noticing him.

I'm going out on a limb here and guessing every Bruin's fan loves Marchy, too! He is Awesome! Our little ball of hate. But, we love Bergy as well. It's a team effort. Not 1 Bruin in Team History, including Brad Marchand could win, even 1 NHL game all by themselves. (Well, maybe Bobby Orr could've) Lol : )

Rask is playing out of his mind... his playoff run reminds me off Tim Thomas' a few years back. Great goaltending can win Cups and Rask looks unbeatable right now.

Nicholas Katsikas I’ll admit I was one of them. I knew he was a good goalie but I thought he let stuff get to his head and you couldn’t depend on him to make that big save or steal a game, let alone a series. Boy have I eaten my words and let me tell you, they’re delicious. He stole the Columbus series and he’s not even giving Carolina a chance. If the B’s win the cup, Tuukka 100% gets the Conn Smythe and deserves every bit of it.

Because there aren't any standout offensive stars currently, like the Shark's Logan Couture who just scored his 14th goal of these playoffs. The Bruins offense is so spread out, it can't be stopped. Although Marchand, Pastrnak, Bergeron, and Coyle all have 6 goals each, the Bruins have 19 different goal scorers so far in this playoff season. And Rask is the Great Wall of Boston. 16 games 53 goals 87 assists 140 points 11 Wins 5 Losses

This was awesome game. Glad Marchand got the 2nd goal for them to take the lead.. I'm definitely real glad they worked real hard to win it. They need to just beat the hurricane one more time to make the Hurricanes go home until hockey season starts again!!

The first one they reviewed last night I didn't have much a problem with. The second one I had an issue with because the Carolina goalie was out of his crease when Debrusk made contact with him. I thought once the goalie is out of his crease you were allowed to touch him?

Canes have no answer for the 3rd and 4th lines of the Bruins.....their 5th and 6th Dmen are getting outworked by these grinders, the depth of the Bruins is showing to be way too much for them to handle. Is this a home game? Each time Rask makes a save it sounds like TD Garden, "Tuuuuuuuuuuk."

Not only the extra soft goalie interference call, but how about the phantom calls on Debrusk and Krug in the first? There isn't any debating they were just non-existent penalties, no wonder the Canes hadn't lost at home yet

This was a damned good Carolina team. Look at the precision....It was all Rask though.

Blatant puck played with high stick not called and 7 men on the ice in the last 2 minutes. No calls. 3 complete phantom penalties (Debrusk, Krug, Griz..) and 2 disallowed goals. I'm serious. Neely needs to step in and send this to the league. There's some serious Tim Donaghy/NBA level corruption here.

Imagine the math for a second if you even believe those 7 calls were 50/50, which they were not. Getting all 7 going one way is like getting heads 7 straight times on a coin flip or 1/128, less than 1%.. I'm saying it is LESS than a 1% chance something funny wasn't going on. Not to mention, try to find a single 50/50 going in the Bruins favor last night. Every penalty against the Canes was blatant, and some even missed like the Williams punch to Krug behind the play and the Williams full wind-up punch to Backes in the net.

So apparently the fact that the Carolina goalie was outside his crease when contact was initiated doesn't mean anything when talking about goaltender interference?? They still won, so it ended up not mattering, but if Carolina had managed to even tie it up that would have been a big point in the game.

Bruins outplayed 5-on-5 for long stretches .. and not just in this game. If not for Rask, this could be a very different series.

Williams is easily the biggest problem the Canes are having this series. Sure, the goalies havent been great. But when you're captain is taking dumb penalties, and acting like an immature player, you deserve to lose.

Get the brooms ready. Carolina hit Rask with everything they had and still couldnt win. Sucks to lose Wagner though. They're gonna need a solid 4th line against San Jose

Goaltender interference isn't that. DeBrusk was shoved in their goalie and their goalie wasn't in the crease. Got robbed but still got the dub.
