This girl Canellakis born to be a condutor. How she feels the musik is out of serie. Wounderful the way she moves to electrize all the musicien. I never saw she plays , never pay attention to her. I have no words !

I commend Karina Canellakis and the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest for performing the Bruckner 9th Symphony. I do wish the sound had been boosted. A bit too soft here. You really should hear Ferdinand Leitner's Bruckner 9th with the Radio-Sinfonieorchester Stuttgart. Terrifying! As this symphony should be....Best Wishes from a listener in Washington,DC.

2:38 Those three chors are, in my opinion, one of the main indicators if the conductor does a good Bruckner interpretation or not. On many contemporary recordings, these chords are way too soft and/or rushed. 20th century conductors would never do this (Celibidache, Wand, ...) but for example the Gergiev one (which is awful) also fails here. I'm glad to hear that Mrs. Canellakis is doing itbetter. Good performance!

彼女の独自の視点でブルックナーを俯瞰したこの「革新的」な解釈は誠にユニークであり「秀逸」でもある。但しブルックナーファンの間では「賛否両論」が湧き起こり、その評価も真っ二つに分かれるであろう。日本の「ブルックナー信奉者」はガチガチの「保守派」が多いので、カネラキスの9番を支持する者は「ほぼほぼいない」ものと思われる。それくらいの「インパクト」がある画期的な演奏なのである。　ブルックナーにおける気鋭の指揮者の演奏の中でも、特にカネラキスの解釈と演奏手法は突出している。彼女は極めて知的であり、冷静さとパッションを併せ持ち、それらを巧みにコントロールしてみせる。その芸術的なセンスと演奏技術（指揮ぶり）は卓越している。　またカネラキスの「ブル9」は全体を通し一貫して繊細で端正な表情を維持している。ギスギスしたり「がっついた」所は微塵もない。つまり極めてノーブルにして「美麗なる」ブルックナーをビルドアップしてみせたのである。　　各楽章を見てゆくと、第1楽章は比較的にオーソドックスな解釈がなされてとても美しい。取り分け弦楽器群の丁寧で繊細なボーイングが際立っていた。フルート奏者を含めた各木管奏者も其々が工夫を凝らしていて聴きごたえがあった。　第2楽章の反復されるスケルツォの部分は、堂々としてオーソドックスな解釈がなされている。それとは対照的に、中間部のトリオでは大胆なアレンジ？とも言えるオリジナリティが発揮される。彼女は折角の感傷的な旋律の部分をはしょっているのだ。しかしそれもまた良しである。　第3楽章は総じて速い。後半に至っては快速急行の態を為している。しかしそれでも尚、カネラキスのブルックナーは充分に美しい。緻密に練られ計算された1ランク上の見事なブル９である。更にはこの「KZread動画」は音質も画質も素晴らしいので、これはもう「至上の9番」と言っていいだろう。放送フィルのパフォーマンスも素晴らしい。「カリーナ・カネラキスさん、最高のブルックナーの9番をありがとうございます。」　【光明こと中井章弘】 　This ``innovative'' interpretation of Bruckner from her unique perspective is truly unique and ``excellent.'' However, there are pros and cons among Bruckner fans, and their evaluations are likely to be divided into two. It is a groundbreaking performance with that much "impact". Among the performances of Bruckner's up-and-coming conductors, Canellakis's interpretation and performance method are particularly outstanding. She is extremely intelligent, has both calmness and passion, and skillfully controls them. Her artistic sense and her conducting skills are outstanding. She also maintains a delicate and neat expression throughout Kanerakis No. 9. There is not the slightest squeak or "sticky" place. In other words, she was able to build up the ``beautiful'' Bruckner into an extremely noble artist. Una versión bastante desastrosa. Canellakis es muy guapa, pero necesita otra orquesta mejor. El sonido también deja bastante que desear.

Women are more talented then men in myriad ways, and will soon surpass them. It's already happening in women violin and cello players. Conducting, I cannot judge it. They have their way.
