I swear, Bruce Springsteen shows seem like the best damn time you can have at a concert, given how much fun Bruce and the E-Streeters are having.

It is. Especially if the horns are there. So much fun!

Bruce does have the lyrics on a teleprompter, but the music is only what they know or can figure out. But since they play so many different songs during a tour, I think that's fine. On this tour they played over 200 different songs if I remember right.

Yeah it’s fun I’ve seen him do this -they used to do “stump the band” where he would take signs of songs they haven’t played in 40 years and sometimes songs they have NEVER played before and it was always a lot of fun

It's a Chuck Berry song, and I assume one of those, which has been covered by every upcoming new band in the 70s. It's a little pity that you were a little unfocused by wringing your brain out, whether and when you have heard the song before. Probably it's the "Pulp Fiction" movie. But I'm happy to see that you also have enjoyed HOW this song was presented to the audience on demand. Bruce is never ashamed to be transparent for his fans HOW processes are working in the band. And that's also a reason why we,"The Tramps" (his fanbase), love him so much. Bruce and the E Street Band are grounded, with no fear to show weakness, empathy or tears, it's an authentic package you will experience on stage. It's a Rock'n Roll train running until the lack of coal after 3hrs or more lasting shows. Others call the band a travelling juke box. So let me say "Thank You", David for your Reaction and Review. It was a blast for me, too.

One of the biggest things the crowd loves to do is try to stump the E Street Band, and yet they still somehow pull it off every time! So many years of bar band experience really helped them before making it big

@@THEDavidHeretic I just want to tell you that while I’m old, I’m relatively new to viewing people reacting to music videos/songs. I do enjoy it and I’m particular, I enjoy your reactions. I find them insightful and informative, but with a great touch of humor. The Disturbed “Sound of Silence” and the Neil Peart drum solo reactions are two of my favorites. I definitely mistook you for an East coast guy, not a dude from Cali, but hey, somebody’s got to eat tofu! 🤣🤣🤣. Anyway, you may have done it, although I couldn’t find it, but I think you would enjoy Ronnie James Dio’s vocals and Ritchie Blackmore’s guitar licks on the song “Stargazer” from their Rising album. It's stuff like this (and it happens regularly) where you really get a sense of what Bruce does as a bandleader. Except here instead of having rehearsed cues, he's just giving them verbally into the mic.

I've heard that the band may run through a few songs before the show in anticipation of what might be on the signs. I really don't know if it's true but I've heard it. The band members are all bar band veterans of 50 years or more and consequently a. have probably played this 100s of times and b. have probably played tunes "on the fly many times

Actually I don't watch the videos before hand. I know a lot of "reactors" do, and you can tell who they are. In all seriousness though, I do not watch anything beforehand. I like being genuine and honest and I pride myself on both traits being strong in my life. Obviously you're going to believe what you want to believe but I'm being honest with you.

Yup yup, someone commented Pulp Fiction and that immediately rang a bell.

Bruce is lying. I don't know if he really doesn't rebember, but he played this song in Bilbao in 2009. But it's always by request. He doesn't use to play it. I recommend you the 2013 London version of "Dancing in the dark". I want to see your WTF face when... ups, spoiler ;)
