I remember Youngblood showing up in PNW rankings in the Apter mags. Jay also wrestled in Vancouver when Don Owens still had a piece of that territory before Tomko ruined it.

It was the Portland sports arena instead of the Rose garden.

Good lord know wat your talking about. The business was Piper's Pitt Stop, and the Rose Garden was never tore down. It still in Portland and is mow called The Moda Center. What he's referring to is the Portland Sports Arena, that where the Portland Wrestling events took place.

To use a Gorilla Monsoon reference Pritchard is a fountain of misinformation. They had a transmission shop in Portland not a 10-minute oil change, he's trying to make them look like a bunch of flunkies. Second of all Seattle is the suicide capital, not the whole Pacific Northwest. And he's talking about Texas he's from Houston yeah they ain't got no hurricanes there no rain storms there no humidity there. The Okanagan in Washington state is one of the most beautiful mountain ranges there are. I'm glad the Iron Sheik suplex Pritchard on that dance floor that time he should have broke his back and made him humble and gave him some man love on top of it.

Bruce is wrong. Portland Wrestling was at the Portland Sports Arena in NE Portland. It was a converted bowling alley. After Portland Wrestling, it was bought out and converted into a church. It was never torn down.

But Piper did clarify on his podcast that Patterson did not sexually abuse him. At that point in his life, I have no reason to believe Piper was protecting Patterson. Perhaps Piper was sexually taken advantage of as a teen by other guys, and since Patterson has always been linked to sex scandals, perhaps discussing Pat reminded Roddy of those traumatic memories. Don't think Piper would have worked with Patterson in the WWF if he had done something to him.
