This guy could enter literally any competition and win. Wtf is that range

@@loveispatient0808 That's right! I think it will come true!
Real artist for ornamentations! Love it!
Translation of Marcin Majchrowski's some comments we can hear here: "Miroirs" performed and interpreted by Bruce Liu. It's difficult to count how many shades, how many different colors and textures could this pianist bring out from the piano. As if it was all written by Ravel... but the secret of classical music is, how the composer's notation reaches the heart and mind of the pianist and how he can filter it through himself. Réminiscences de Don Juan... a very difficult and technically demanding piece. Bruce achieved the intended, electrifying effect in this piece. The audience got up from their seats. Chopin ends in heaven and here everything ends in hell. Well then I would like to fry for a long time in such a piano hell. Because it was something extraordinary. Absolute control of the keyboard, over every possible component! After the first encore - F. Chopin, Nocturne in C Sharp Minor Op.Posth: Bruce Liu, tired but smiling, sweaty but probably pleased. One important thing in his interpretation of Chopin's Lento...and this probably applies not only to F Chopin's Lento, but also to Réminiscences de Don Juan. When Bruce played it I had the impression that he improvises this piece. It is probably a mystery, this is the essence of his art. He is able to nuanse the agogic pieces he performs so that you have the impression that they were created at this moment. It acts as if he was an extraordinary medium that can read the composer's intentions, which only parts are noted on the staff on the sheet of music. Extraordinary talent, extraordinary artistry of this very young man ! About the last encore: How these three Ecossaises were played ! - with a lot of humor, with a pinch of salt ! Especially the third one - unusual miniature, of course using all the sonic possibilities of the piano! Overall summary: Bruce Liu perfectly controls the keyboard over this instrument, which, as we heard in the interview, is not a grateful instrument to play. And when you observe Bruce Liu at the piano, you actually have the impression that he would like to control the sound from start to finish, shape it right after that moment when he hits the key and this is something unusual. Maybe he should play the instrument in which you can control the sound from the beginning to the end, for example the violin, but this is of course half a joke...
To cudownie,że możemy ten wieczór przeżyć jeszcze raz.Bardzo dziękujemy!!!
Absolutely beautiful 😌👏🏻👏🏻🌷👌 so many colours, full of imagination! Fazioli in Bruce's hands sounds just perfect. Thanks for the possibility of listen to this concert 🌟👍
優しく素敵な演奏本当に有難うございます。そして素敵な作曲家のみなさんの曲を
Dear Bruce Liu ~ you are definitely a pianist for the ages! Thanks for giving so much care to your studying and performances. Favorite music comes alive even more in your hands and heart! ❤💐🕊️
Amazing Bach&Ravel..🤍
He reminds me Michelangeli for the absolute control of the sound, the extreme precision and definition of all the layers of the sound. I don't know if Mr Liu admires Michelangeli but that's what I feel.

Everything he plays is wonderful! The Ravel was stunning ! The beauty of his tones, many times tears me up when I am hearing him play, don’t know why? 👏👏👏
It's a wonderful and beautiful performance thank you ~~
This baroque music played by Bruce Liu has such a soft and gentle tone❗Fatsuoli piano sings more and more❗
I am listening to this recital over and over again, interpretations of each composers are just amazing and awesome! So sad that can't listen to the Edinburgh recital anymore which was phenomenal!! 🌠🤩
ce pianiste de génie fait entendre des choses tout à fait nouvelles, c'est superbe, son sens de la polyphonie est tel qu'il pourrait très bien faire une intégrale Bach un jour, à écouter avec grand plaisir!!!!! Merci!!!!!
Wow his Reminiscences de Don Juan is so clean and incredible, probably my favorite interpretation
Impecables interpretaciones. Imposible dejar de escucharlo. Admirable regalo de la vida! Gracias, muchas gracias Mr Bruce! 🇦🇷
Thank you so~ much for uploading, love Poland! All the performances are Marvelous!! 👏👏 His spectrum of colors sparkles, especially in Ravel. Looking forward to hear more of his various repertoires. It was a happy pleasant afternoon. Thank you again! 😅🎶
thank you for this precious recording! Bruce and the Fazioli piano at his best!
The Bach was, for me, quite outstanding and then little differences in his interpretations of the rest of the program just kept on compounding my delight. A pianist who plays the loud notes without banging is rare in my experience. Thank you for this lovely concert.

This was a wonderful recital. His Ravel is exquisite. While I enjoyed his Bach, it wasn’t my favourite. I felt he used a little too much rubato, in my opinion. He made it his own, but I felt he took a few too many liberties with the rhythm. That said, I’m a big fan.
Every interpretation of a different composer was a surprise, sometimes it was like i discovered again and again masters pieces that i thought i knew🎶🎵🪷💯🤲
The thing is, I watched an interview where Bruce himself said that his stronger point is more contemporary pieces like Ligeti… Dear boy, then define/show what do you understand from "strong" because this performance (especially Ravel and Bach) sounded "kind of" pretty solid to my humble/decent ears😅 But of course, his own standards is/should be different than the audience. Also personally, I would really love to listen his Mozart one day, he circles around Mozart with variations but maybe one day we can hear the real deal 🤞 Many many composers that I hope to listen from him, not enough time…
Thank you so much for precious video collection! Thanks to this channel we can listen & watch Bruce’s performances we can’t find anywhere else ❤️❤️

Bruce Liu, as do other brilliant musicians, puts to rest the too prevalent idea that Bach's music is brilliant but oh so mechanical, etc. In the (literal) hands of a great musician, Bach's humour and deep emotion shines forth. Thank you, Bruce!
Thank you so much for putting it together. 😍Bruce once again amazes us with his stunning performance! How incredible he is to play four different composers in one concert! Bravo!👏👏👏
Finalmente um Bach tranquilo !!!👏👏💋💋🙏🙏🙏

These are not songs that he played at the Chopin Competition. These are piano compositions, not vocal.
Thank you for sharing the performance with us! In one recital, he played from 4 composers, 3 different periods, and he jumped from one to another with such ease and competence. So fresh, so smooth and so vibrant with his special "Bruce touch"! Listening his playing is like reading from a very elegant, clear and coherent hand writing, every piece comes together and makes more sense to me when he plays. Also, I am really thankful that he didn’t bang banged his Liszt out. I knew he wouldn’t, meaninglessly showing off is never his thing, it is just… I am happy to confirm again that I will be able to listen his Liszt more than 20-30 min which is my limit for many other contemporary Liszt interpretations😅 So my migraine is also thankful to Bruce 😄
Thank you❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️(husiu kozu mam z reminencie Don Juana).

Quiero escuchar más obras de Bach
Thank you ! It was in every way a unique concert. I'd like to add, like Marcin Majchrowski from 2 Program of the Polish Radio, who, describing the Bruce's performance of Liszt's Variations, said that he wanted to stay in a hell, to which the finale of the Variations leads, I also want to stay in this hell ! And just a few words from me about the Ballad in A flat Major: what an emotional richness, a phenomenally shaped tension in the piece, breathtaking...❤🌹
