Why is it I get the impression that most people backing KY either personally know him or are from Leicester... He's alright he's just so cliche with his hustle and money talk about how mean the streets are, grinding for his daughter etc. Plus hustle talk won't get you anywhere when you're battling

I like these on beat battles, there's been good match ups n whatevs cept the quality is so shite. There's such a static in the mic or somethings up I dunno but sounds like men are rapping through one of them old school kid microphones that would make your echo. Would be so much better with better sound quality

KY didnt really move me with what he was spitting but bought energy to the battle even when bru c rounds like to see more of that

Bru had some of the best lines getting fried like walkers, ky puts the ky in jelly and ky a mix up of ali g and devvo, but that said, ky was so good overall wins the battle even without the home crowd supporting

I think it was a completely even match.

not sure what all the complaints on sound were about, granted I listened to it through a decent pair of Sennheisers but the audio was fine through headphones. I have no issue with the in house beat being used, at least you can tell whether they flow on beat, which is really the only point of holding these battles over beats. My biggest gripe is that the last beat was fucking garbage for a battle. I understand providing a variety to make them demonstrate versatility and to catch a beat and ride it, but at least provide someting that they can rap on, not some 6/8 shit with changeups, which might be good if they wrote to it in advance but fucking butchers the listenability in this context. That said, it should be fairly obvious Bru-C won this, way better flow, rhyme schemes and content. KY basically relied on one angle, weak filler with the occasional nice punchline/personal and a dial-a-hypecrowd cheering some pretty average lines to try and put him over, but naaaah. Pretty average battle all things considered.
