Usually shootouts like this seem to have a ton of fumbles/pick sixes/punt returns etc, but this game only had 1 turnover. It was just two impressive offenses destroying the opponents defense. One was dicing up the secondary, the other was physically running the ball down their throat. What a game. GG Browns

Yep this was actually the first time in NFL history a team scored 40+ and didn't turn it over and still lost out of 500+ occasions (forget exact number). Usually these types of games are agressive D's giving and taking or aggressive O's flying or crashing and burning, special teams stuff like you said, it's never as cut and dry of offense owning defense like the box score indicates. Herbert is a hell of a quarterback and I'm not going to take that away from them but this team isn't designed to be four in one. This is a two and two team that people are paying to get better because in the end they're going to make a profit. La is one of the biggest markets in the entire United States. I'm really debating on not watching another football game this year. I will stick to college because I don't have to worry about a lot of the same bull crap. As a lifetime chargers fan I’m not getting my hopes up yet, but I will say having a coach that believes in his guys and coaches without fear is doing wonders for this team. Staley believing in his team really shows on 4th down. Those guys are ready to run through a wall. Love my chargers, and regardless of the rest of the season today we can be proud.

@Ernest Maturan that one Mike Williams pass interference call was bad I'll give you that. But the chargers got one bad call too when they called 89 TE Parham holding when he actually didn't. Sucks to say but that's just part of the NFL bad penalties.

Dropped 4th down in the redzone from OBJ. 2 holding calls in the 4th quarter. Crazy conservative play calling down the stretch. Baker had a very good game here and played to Herbert’s level

Best game of the week. Contender for game of the year. Browns & Chargers are gonna be a must watch in the future. And the playoffs. 😏

This game reminded me of the chiefs and rams a few years ago

I was standing the majority of the 4th quarter. Holy hell that was a wild game. Herbert is a dawg bro! Such a great time to be a bolt fan. All I can say is.. FINALLY!!

@@tubenachos The first 6 games are tough but after the Ravens game, chargers schedule is actually pretty easy. Hardest games left are against the Ravens, Chiefs, and Raiders. I can see Chargers ending the year with a 13-4 record if they keep on playing how they're playing

Seeing how you guys are playing makes me appreciate that loss even more, I think that game sparked a mindset we haven't had in a few years. Our only worse enemies have only been ourselves, we overcome that, no one can beat us. I'm sure you guys look at this season the same, especially with a healthy Dak back.

And to think when I lived in Creswell, OR, and Justin was pumping out big yards in high school football in Sheldon, that he would turn out to be the real deal in the NFL.

Chargers look sharp and confident! That TD after half, the 4th down conversion and then the 2pt conversion, that's getting the job done!

Baker isn't the QB to lead you to the promise land. He was a #1 pick but is the 3rd best QB n his own draft. They were up 14 points in the second half and got the ball back at half

That isn’t why we lost the game tho. Not every call is gonna go your teams’ way. Our PATHETIC 2nd half showing and terrible play calling late in the game is what sealed our fate.

Yea I agree denver and chargers should be fighting for first right now. We should be 5-0but those end game missed calls,or phantom calls made denver lose to the ravens and steelers. Smh. And it don't help your team is hurt and some iffy play calling as well but I agree the reffs this year are the worst I've seen in a really long time...
