I only use the Dark Ops models... Reason?? 2:52 the red fox. I have also been out in the dark and have seen my "low glow" cameras being activated. They REALLY glow. I have had deer spot them even though my cameras are all mounted from 8-12 feet high. I can deal with the lesser quality of the photos at night vs game and thieves not seeing my cameras. Very well done video!

Sure, there are pros and cons for both. I prefer video quality. But the dark ops models have decent quality as well. I'm glad you have similar experiences. I hope you enjoyed my video. Best of luck capturing wildlife on camera.

Video quality was very close. Strike Force FORCE XD Pro has a slight brighter video image, while the Dark Ops offered better contrast and exposure... and the animals did not react to the no-glow LEDs like the Fox did when seeing the low-flow red LEDs. The Dark Ops would be gets for wildlife research and surveillance.

I in the process of building a mouse trap, need to video tape the activity and action of the trap. Dilemma i have is that I would like to use low glow (for better pic quality) as I will be placing the camera close to the trap if i use the strike force will the low glow spook mice and rats? Or will the no glow work fine for the small mice Will be using video Thanks

I think both cameras will work. Potentially they will see the IR light, but in my experience mice/rats are not really bothered about the lights. Good luck. Sam

I run Brownings. I have both a dark Ops model and standard models. The standard model gives crisper, brighter night video. The dark Ops is not as clear in my opinion. I will stick with standard. I used Coverts for years but ran into reliability and sound issues with them. I tried a Browning and never looked back. When my Coverts die, they will be replaced with Browning. Currently running three Brownings and two Coverts. Good sound, good video quality, (60 frames at 1080p has less motion blur) and large viewing screen. They rock.

@@Wildlifeimpulse One Covert model that I do like is the Hollywood model that takes color night photos. I may wind up getting more of that type, but Browning wins the crisp night video for sure.

ehe ....Yes, but where is the option to send a photo? LTE? GPS? Secondly, is this a 4K camera trap? And what's interesting is that the object is still small, both lenses should work together to get the depth of the image. The background is still flat, my digital camera with 7 mpx sensors makes better photos and videos. The company should be interested in making better optics.

Hi, thanks for the questions. These browning trail camera's don't allow sending photo's or video's over mobile data. Considering lenses. There is a reason for both lenses. 1 lens is for daytime pictures, the second lens is for nighttime pictures. Nighttime means there is a filter removed. In old models, there is a mechanical filter moving, so it makes a sound between the last daytime and the first nighttime photo. There is no reason to compare digital camera's with trail camera's. They both the photo's, but a trail camera is motion triggered without a human being interfering. I still hope it was a valuable video for you.

@@Wildlifeimpulse Hello, thank you for the answer. This is the time when technology moves forward. A lot of electronic stuff is very advanced. Since they are investing in cameras, they should invest in camera traps. There is a person in my country who makes photo traps himself. His name is - - "Marcin z lasu Kostrzyński". The cost of making such a wildlife camera trap is 3x lower than a storefront camera trap and it gives twice a better picture. The film is very sharp and clear, vivid, like the best lens of a professional camera. Please check the channel and the video titled: "Warsztat , jak i czym filmuję. Nowe kamery".

@@Wildlifeimpulse No problem, the whole point of my writing is to pay attention to the problems of current camera traps on the market, if a regular KZread guy can make better equipment than electronics companies, it means that we overpay for something that shouldn't cost more than $ 50. I'm sorry for our language, man, the clarity of the videos on his channel is impressive. I recommend that you ask someone who will translate you or learn for you. regards

That's definitely a big issue. I'm not putting cameras on trails or places with a lot of human activity. I put my cameras in a box with a lock. I also add a little note with my name and my phone number (not sure if it helps). Sam
