Thanks for the post ma'am , my grandma has made brown sugar frosting before her method is same as the normal buttercream frosting instead of regular powdered sugar she uses homemade brown powdered sugar. It was amazingly delicious frosting on cupcakes or normal cakes. Medical student Malaysia.😋👍✌

My mother used a brown sugar frosting on her chocolate cake, no recipe she just did it. I’m looking for a recipe I’ve got the cake recipe now I’m looking for the frosting. She was born in 1912 so she didn’t need a recipe. I hope this works. Thank you Ma’am

When u hold arm by pot on stove... are you looking at watch or something for time... you are actually timing how long to cook? Will try this frosting!
