this was exactly what a needed to see - i usually go for high-end face makeup but i've been struggling to find a good shade that matches. i've been considering trying out a drugstore haul, and this convinced me! P.S. love your brown girl makeup series, and that combined with a drugstore series would be a real winner.

I love the LA Girl Pro Concealers! They so inexpensive and so versatile. In the summertime, I actually use the Pro Concealer in that brown color (beautiful bronze, I think it’s called) as an eyeshadow on my eyelids. Out in the blazing sun, it enhances but looks really soft & natural and it doesn’t budge or melt because it’s a concealer. If I’m going out, I’m just put some highlighter in copper or gold on top of the brown to give it a sunkissed look. The Pro Concealer holds the highlighter really well. It’s a great little product. 👍

I need that lip color ASAP!!!! And for drugstore brushes please try eco tools!!! Their brushes are synthetic and really good!

Omg I love that you made this video exploring the drugstore. I got that Maybelline SuperStay foundation stick too just yesterday from CVS. Just as good, if not better, as the liquid version. I wish you also touched more on the deals regarding the extrabucks. For example, I got the Maybelline foundation stick for $11.99 and a single eyeshadow for $4.19. The deal was spend $15 on maybelline cosmetics and get $5 extrabucks. Plus I had a $3 off $10 maybelline coupon that I got in the mail from CVS, plus another $2 off any maybelline foundation coupon that I got in the weekly flyers. So that made my entire Maybelline purchase $6.18. CVS has these sorts of deals weekly which I take full advantage combined with other coupons. Getting cheaper prices on already inexpensive products

Yes!!!!! This was so fun! I love CVS and their AP is awesome, it even includes manufacturer coupons that you can use with the CVS extra bucks. It's so gratifying to see my total get smaller at the register lol. I would love to see you do this as a series and go to different drug stores.

You said you don’t have a brow product that you like in drugstore but NYX has a tinted brow mascara that I think works great! Sometimes elf has some good brushes for a good price. Also, at Walmart I find real techniques brushes that are also great, for a drug store price. Great video of product must haves! I’m always looking for affordable makeup. :)

Get the neutrogena hyaluronic acid sun screen! It makes your skin soft and doesn't leave a white cast. It was like 10 bucks at Target

I have pretty much the same Skin tone as you and I bought a couple of things from Almay. Their quad eyeshadows are pretty decent and I also tried their smart shade skin tone matching makeup and TBH I’m not sure about this one. I sure would like for you to test it out and make a video on it though. P.S. I love CVS for makeup. If you use a combination of their coupons and Extrabucks, you can get 50$ worth of stuff for like 20$. 😂

I am glad you choice to do a drugstore video. It's not your typical style, but you still managed to add a Deepica twist to it. I really enjoy your vlogging style snd seeing a more personal side to you. Most of us do our makeup shopping in a neighborhood drugstore because its more affordable. We still want high end makeup. A beginner like me needs to know what brands and products are good and affordable. You managed that in this vlog. I actually just got my hands on the Maybeline foundation sticks and I can't wait to try them. I was having trouble picking a liquid eyeliner. Going to give Wet and Wild brand a chance. I was going to get the Neutragena facial wipes but decided to get a more affordable brand and it irritated my skin.

I’m definitely picking up that Elf blush palette 👍🏽. Eco Tools has good brushes and real techniques. Covergirl and L’Oréal do a fantastic brow pencil 👍🏽👍🏽! Yes a series would be fun and helpful!

I have ideas! Mineral sunscreen for brown girls, can you find a way to make it work? Which cosmetic companies actually hire brown girls in leadership positions in their companies? That is who I want to support! Which companies are cruelty free, which are not (which are actually cruel). Do the research, why are elf, wet n wild, essence. Etc so inexpensive? Back to school make-over that looks nice in horrible classroom lighting for high school vs college vs teachers! Do your makeup using drug store brushes. The random makeup brands on hush like bad habit or have candy that I never see on stores. I love your voice and attitude!

Re: brushes: My first makeup brushes were ecotools from the drugstore and I still love them. their targeted cheek blush brush? LOVE. And if you can wait for holiday season, I got the Wet and Wild pro line for such a good deal that I bought 2. And I love them.

La conceal not enough coverage for me I have bad dark circles

So I got an eyebrow pomade that roxette arisa suggested in her drugstore starter kit vlog, and it's amazing! You have to try it! I never thought I would use a pomade but I thought it's cheap enough so that I could test it and see how I do. CoverGirl sculpt +set pomade in soft brown. I think you would love it! I do! I've never tried ABH but something tells me it's just as good. I like how it comes with a brush and it clicks into the base. (Stays clean in makeup bag) 🙌 it would make me so happy if you commented on this product! Just wanted you to know how proud I am of you!! You're the first KZreadr that I subbed 😊 keep up the good work!!

Deeeepica! You need to try Wet and Wild brushes, Wet and Wild eyeshadow, WnW blushes, and more ELF stuff! I love both of those brands tbh but don’t really gravitate towards L’Oréal or Maybelline 😂😂 Maybe you should do a drugstore brands I’m meh about. Lol.

Deepica Mutyala I’m not sure if I’m over stepping my boundaries here but What area is it? My local CVS doesn’t have variety at all- It suck in all honesty. They don’t even have la Girl at all. And majority of makeup has been opened and used. Yuck!
