Definitely. Her voice sometimes gives me these deep Lisa Gerard feels, but other times she's just super powerful. So good. I just found these guys via spotify a couple months ago, and I can't believe I didn't come across them years ago. Amazing band.

I love the facial expressions the singer makes, she's having such a good time.

Earlier this year, when my life completely fell apart, I listened to this song a lot, and it really helped me to pull through the toughest point in my life. Thank you, Brothers of Metal, for being one of the greatest bands I’ve ever had the joy of listening to.

I can't get enough of this band. I came across them on Spotify when I was in Denmark and Norway and all of their videos remind me of the best trip of my life. I love the growling vocals of the one male vocalist contrasted by the angelic voice of the female. Just so beautiful. And the scenery is gorgeous. I'm sure it's Sweden, but reminds me of the mountains and fjords of Norway.

Let is a very wrong word here. If I'm not mistaken, Ylva is one of the founding members along with her brother Joakim, hence the name of the band. If she decides to sing more, she will.

What I really love about Brothers of Metal is that, of all their songs I've heard, they're all unique. A lot of bands have distinct speed or style to their music. There's nothing wrong with that, to be sure - Powerwolf, Rhapsody of Fire, and Tyr are all excellent bands even if some of their songs blend together a bit. Brothers of Metal, however, has managed something a bit new with each track - I can't see myself mistaking one for another easily, because each sounds different. Certainly, they won't all land for everyone (I personally wasn't as big a fan of this song as of Njord, for instance, though I can already tell One is going to grow on me), but it's very respectable that with each song they branch out and avoid becoming trapped in a particular style or sound.

Is it just me or do they really seem like they are having fun in all their videos?

That's why I love this band. They are fun and they have fun doing what they do. Other people seem to be offended by that though for some reason.

This is still my hymn in 2024 and the "high-notes-into-guitar-solo-in-a-boat-on-a-lake-in-a-thunderstorm" part still gives me chills. Just plain awesome music and cinematography! Still desperatly waiting for album #3 lady and gentlemen ;-).

Hooooollyyyy fuuuuck they nailed it with this ONE ;) Such a nice ballad, the vocals are melodic and beautiful, go hand in hand extremely well,AND DAMN THE LOCATIONS!!! you rarely see such beautiful music videos. Damn, I cant fucking wait for the album, thank you Brothers of Metal!

There are no bad songs from Brothers of Metal, every single one just gets better than the previous one. Yggdrasil was just the beginning of a long journey.

Honestly one of my favourite songs of all time!

This song actually evokes strong emotions in me.

This takes me back to my childhood playing on the hills of the Ouachitas mountains un fall.

The Orchestral Intro melts my heart everytime and then I cry for the rest of the song!

Honestly, this was may day today. The path I was walking lead astray, the mead I was drinking took me no where (wait, I don't drink.) Then, my brothers asked me to take their hands, showed me the way. We are but one. And although the battle, though it be an inner one, may seem a personal one alone, but the have my back, and, when I'm needed, I have theirs. No doubt the gods will be watching tomorrow when I fight my battle. It's a fight I can only truly fail by not trying (well technicaly...) if things go as hoped, good-no great for me, if they don't, well, then at least there's always Valhalla.

I wish Ylva was LEAD singer. She's so good. I hope she has more to sing when the album comes out.

They obviously put in a ton of work to making good music which makes them admirable, but then they never take it seriously in a video, which is why I love this band 😁
