I don't know about everyone else that watches this man, but I am consistently blown away by the fact I am always viewing him in his living room instead of a worldwide stage somewhere. Incredible man. Just beautiful to watch.

You don’t know what this song means to me. It carried me through very dark times and never fails to bring tears of both joy and sorrow - which is how you know it truly is genius. Thanks you for giving me the inspiration to (finally) learn this on the guitar and show that an acoustic version can live up to the original 🙏🏻

@@KyndesCovers You're wrong. 1st of all, I'm not that kind of person who fool his subscribers with extra channels, autotune etc.. What you see it's what it is. Second, there are places in the song that I understand why you think so- you hear a "chuck" along with a note so it seems like 2 channels, b ut there is a technique of making it happen. Check my video "How To Sound Like The Whole Band". I'm explaining this kind of things there

I love this exchange on this thread. Essentially, "That doesn't sound possible, it must be a trick." But I've done Yoni's tutorials, some of them, and I can vouch for the fact that this is all live playing. That's the genius of his arrangements, in allowing the right hand to do all it needs to do. It's wonderful that even experienced guitarists look at his cover versions and say, "That can't be done..."

Man, most people do Sultans Of Swing when they wanna perform/cover Dire Straits, but Brothers In Arms is such a complex rhythm /lead /vocal masterpiece, and this man gives it his all and stays true to the craft of being one with the composition. What a technique Knopfler has, and Yoni - sir, you are special for sure. Respect.

I have just recently just picked up the guitar again at the age of 67, I could only dable with it in my early twenties, but now feel I have missed out of the beauty of play the guitar, my question is do I have enough time or brain power to learn at least some of what this demigod knows? Renzo Haeck check out his other videos - there are some beautiful Dire Straits covers, as he’s a real fan. I came from an advert for D and G guitars that came on my feed and, like for many others, it was the first advert I’ve watched to the end. For Yoni.
