I feel so unworthy of the Kingdom when I see the faith and obedience and dedication BrotherYun and other eastern christians have compared to myself, a western. we are so starving of God, here. It burdens me. I'm deeply convicted.

Some of the glib comments concerning Brother Yun are so scarily ignorant. In my opinion he is one of the most courageous, humble, loyal and powerful in the Spirit men of God alive today. What an incredible honour to hear him. I saw him in England about 15 years ago, I met him and had the privilege of giving him a hug. Yes, that's bragging. I thank God for his inspirational, Jesus loving life!

When Yun wrote the Heavenly Man, I believe he was genuine. It was a wonderful book. Here, I was very disturbed by his 'handlers', the slick video and the way they took the offering, the 1/2 second prayer for all the people.... I pray he would not become ruined... One who stayed the course was Richard Wurmbrand, a man of great depth who did not swerve when he came to the West.

am very glad bethel is aware of BTJ movement & brother Yun. its been yrs now that we've been hearing/seeing tremendous growth in china & the 1040 window. much more is needed to be done, esp in re: to middle eastern Islamic countries. perhaps Father God will allow apostles to rise up in government positions so to focus & speed up this process. then again, God often does it the hard/impossible way, by our estimation/way of looking at things. pray that God can use u/me to speed up the return of the One & only King Jesus (Yeshua); be it by personal service or $$$'s we don't need for ourselves. all by H>S> leading/Power......always. (not our own, for our own credit) Shalom Aleichem to all who'll receive it.

I have to say, normally I never really post on these comments. But I sensed this was right to say from God's word at least. Stefan Danko true Bethel has a very bad report in recent comings. But Our heart should not be to reject the gospel message coming through to the people in these churches. Victor Marx speaking a TBN, and some others, though I do not agree and think their much off in their dealing with the Gospel. I believe that it is completely right in love to share the truth wherever the truth is given opportunity to be shared. Paul for instance, shared at many churches, and they were doing very Pagan things (1 Cor. 5) yet he was still coming to speak there with love as one would speak to his child (1 Cor. 4:21) what about his address to the stoics in Acts, he brought love and the gospel changed many hearts. I understand and commend you for your heart to protect and preserve truth, but to judge a brothers testimony when (China) has been turned up side down with salvations unto our King. Should not be found in our mouths. I've not found heretical doctrine in his life, nor in his teaching. I'm sorry brother Yunn lost credibility to you, but if this is the case then much of the believers all through out the N.T. should lose credibility to you as well. For instance Titus 1. Pauls rebuke to the believers to be sound in faith. Timothy, to rebuke them once or twice but other then that don't fellowship with the (individual believer) not the whole church. (Rev. 2-3) Jesus warnings to the 6 churches. And a few of them had some really demonic stuff going on in there. But there were still some that were faithful. If I could encourage you instead of questioning and casting judgement where judgement is not open, pray for Yunns, testimony to draw those people to question whether their in the faith and if not to do something about it (2 Cor. 13:5) The Kundalini thing is a mess man, I agree. There's a lot getting out of whack. But praise God we can still fix our eyes on our Savior and rejoice that the gates of hell will not prevail!!!

I have been in a church where great men og God released the power of God by touching people's head. Nothing happened afterwards. And where is this in the Bible? I am sorry that brother Yun does that.

Is nobody else concerned about the involuntary head movements, jerks, and manifestations? Where is a tunnel like this in the Scriptures?

Yes stuff like this has really hindered my growth in God. I spoke in tongues in my room after earnestly seeking God on my own just me and the Bible. I repented of all known sin...never in my life even been to a charismatic church before, so I didn't even know what tongues were it just came out one day worshipping Jesus. Then I sought to walk more in the Spirit at a full gospel church, but seeing stuff like this makes me nervous, and afraid to let go and be more open to the Spirit worrying if something else might move in. Bummer that there is so much deception in seeking a relationship with God.

Even more of a bummer. If thats what I get when I know I was 100% seeking with an honest heart what hope is there for me? Btw ever since I have been falling apart. Im a mess, I can't hardly walk, I can't work, I can't sing, I'm worried I got totally taken out. I've lost all assurance, and my life is all but ruined. I'm clinging to hope but its so hard to have now. Ive recently got a KJV Bible and will try to find a baptist church to go to. Its all so confusing...

GIRTHBROOKSmusic Hi Friend! I've been in (and also question) the same things as you all the time. If my words and journey can mean anything to you, then please hear! I believe that you have met Jesus and He is so committed to loving you. We often look at Churches and other bodies to be an example and give guidance towards God and truth- but a lot of us are quick to push down, and stand on what we may believe is right in (good intentions). But this can be confusing to one who just wants answers. The beauty is that God wants to shine through all of us, and lead us to a greater unity that goes past theology. In other words, It is God who confirms and gives us discernment. I believe you have met the Lord, Girth, and I urge you to have faith in your secret place and trust that He will continue to build you up with Him. How beautiful, yet rare, is it to see people get alone with God and hear from Him. The secret place of seeking Him with everything that you are, is a safe place. He will never deny you, and will always protect you in moving towards Him. It is a promise. When you draw near to Him, he WILL draw near to you. "Psalm 91: He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty." You are safe with Him and His word. Don't let other churches, theologies, apologetics, or anything get in the way of God Himself. Do you believe God wants to be close with you and speak to you? Me too. Let Your creator define you, my brother! I love you! You are found in Him!

Thank you man. I appreciate you taking the time to write all that. I still try to seek but I'm so disillusioned, its hard to even seek. Trust is what I have lost...and I need to regain it. That said, I don't even know how to seek anymore. I'm so screwed up I can hardly discern anything I feel or think, my emotions are whacked, and I literally am stuck in my room all day. It's hard not to grow bitter with everything when all this happened since trying to do the right thing and obey the Lord. Thanks again for your thoughts. I miss when my theology was just, I'm a sinner and Jesus loves me.

Strange that all those miracles happen to him yet he still needs a translater when he talks even though he claims to speak in tongues

Rubbish. The Gift of Tongues was a divinely bestowed supernatural ability to speak in a human language that had not been learned by the one speaking. According to the Apostle Paul, when believers exercised the gift of tongues in church, they were to speak one at a time, and only two or three were to speak in a given service (1 Cor. 14:27). Furthermore, when tongues were spoken in the church, they were to be interpreted by someone with the gift of interpretation so that the others might be edified by the God-given message (1 Cor. 14:5, 13, 27). In this way, tongues did not serve as a private prayer language, but rather-like all spiritual gifts-as a means by which one might serve and edify the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12:7; 1 Pet. 4:10).

in 1Cor 14, 28 pauls says, that when noone can interpret your tongues in the church then you shouldn't talk in public, but before god and yourself, because, like 1Cor 14,5 tells us, it builds up himself. so tongues were for public AND privat practice, pauls tells us that clearly. to your question: wouldn't he still need an interpreter when he would have spoken in tongues there? ;-) also you don't "control" what exactly you say, when you speak in tongues, because the spirit chooses the words, even though you control your mouth. god bless.
