@@ayahhassan6542 This machine is excellent for long dresses, skirts, and ruffles. It has a solid straight stitch; the only issue you might have is adjusting large quantities of fabric out of the way of the needle. Sewing while under a pile of fabric is a very common sewing experience.😂This machine will cover all your garment sewing needs! I sewed my whole fashion collection and my cosplays on a similar Brother machine with no issues. ~ Kristin

Can XM3700 hem jeans/denim pants?
I cant thread the pin at the beginning of chapter two. My machine is functioning and the needle is moving but not the bobbin.

this is happening to me, how did u fix it ??
I have bought a XM3700 model of brother sewing machine from USA. Which was working at 100v-120v..but in India how it will work in 220v-240v of electry supply.Can you please let me know what to do

We're sorry, not entirely sure how to answer this since we're a cosplay patterning company. Maybe try a surge protector?
Great informative video. I had to sell my old Brother machine because general purpose foot has forks which r not divided in the center. It makes very hard to align old seam with new needle' s position. I normally do mending projects of adjusting the size of dresses. My problem is since needle' is not at the center of foot's division, it makes it harder to align old stitch with new. Do u have any suggestions? Thank u....

Oh no! Sorry to hear about the problem you're having with your needle alignment. May I ask what foot you are using? The general purpose foot should have a split in the center, so it should not affect the alignment too much. Don't forget to check your needle position, you want it in the center. You can also measure from the center needle to the seam allowance line on your seam allowance guide to double check that you are always sewing at the same distance. - Kristin

@@FirstStopCosplay Thank u for responding Kristin. I was using similar general purpose foot as u r showing in this video. In Brother machines I noticed the division of foot is not in the middle. Standard stitch length was set at 8, but to move needle in the middle of foot, I had to choose stitch length 11. I am planning to buy Brother XM3700. Could u please tell me if general purpose foot is divided in middle or is it on one side? As I am watching video I assume it is on one side. But please verify. Thank u

@@Nikki-km7hy Hi Nikki, the foot packaged with the Brother XM3700 is divided off to the left; you can always buy a different general purpose foot that is split in the middle with the machine, and it will also work! However, in regards to your comments about stitch length, are you perhaps referring to the stitch type, which uses the dial on the front of the machine? The Brother XM3700 and most other Brother machines only go up to 5 in stitch length. If you're still having trouble, you can refer to your sewing machine manual to make sure everything is working as usual. Let us know how it goes! - Kristin

How do you fix the ligth T.T mine just broke and There is no video ko where showimg how to fix the ligth

Hi Rodolfo! Can you explain what problem you're having with the sewing machine light? You may have to unscrew and replace the light bulb. If it's an internal issue, you would have to bring it into a sewing machine repair shop. The instruction manual for your machine may also have a troubleshooting guide! - Kristin
