The towers aren’t comin down, they are replacing the hydraulic gates at the base to allow for better-managed water intake and for increased oxygen levels on the Lower Saluda River. (The Tailwater). Everything related to the towers and Dominion’s hydro facility is original from when it was constructed in the 1920’s. I suggest fishin the Lower Saluda and the Broad where it confluences to form the Congaree. Best bass and trout fishin In the area. (I’m downtown Columbia).
