You will lovely and do what i did, research and go shopping on your own, I did that chose a modest black and ivory number, it was fab, though took my Lovely Mum and Sister in law to the dress fitting and ran to a pink tutu number on the rack and excitedly said this is it, there faces were a picture, Best wishes

I prefer sleeves and modesty, but the dress has to be well made. I don't care for sleeveless and strapless wedding gowns. Too many of them look like the underwear that should go under a proper dress. And don't get me started on these gowns that are slit up to the wazoo.

They could have showed her so many different styles of sleeves.... the first dress had very heavy lace sleeves, perhaps something more sheer would have looked better and she still could have had her sleeves.

When i got married i went through tons of wedding magazines and found my dress. I found the shop that sold it in my city. My mom and i went together and bought it. It was so perfect. No entourage. They are not getting married and not buying it. So I did not need them.
