I just got a new 325 machine for Christmas and I only want to work with fabric I think I messed my fabric mat up, I ironed heat and bond on the material and left the paper on it then I placed the paper side on mat and cut it worked great but when I took off the item the paper stayed on mat 😂 I scraped and could get it off,so I ran the section of paper under running water got all the paper off hung up the mat to try. All this to ASK how do you make appliqué pieces?

First congratulation on your new machine! Second don't worry we have all gotten paper stuck to the mat. It's like a right of passage at this point. Next time I would suggest using the fabric mat with the treated fabric. This time have the fabric side on the mat with the paper side facing up. We did a video on appliques back in October. Questions about the 24" mat why are u unable to scan to see where your fabric is placed before cutting? Also great video once again

Hi Tam, You can scan the 24 inch mat. You have to go to settings and choose that mat, and then when it scans there are arrows on the screen to see the bottom portion of the large mat. I hope that helps. Barbara
