Great info. Really pisses me off that customers have to get this kind of info from youtubers rather than from Brother. I've wasted hours dealing with their useless instructions and install software. They should have people like you working for them.

Jersey Jim, I totally agree. When I first got the Brother printer years ago it connected to my Apple network effortlessly. Later I upgraded my Internet to ATT Fiber and used their nice router. But after hours and dozens of attempts to connect the Brother I gave up and used USB. Two years later I see this video, and ten minutes later I was printing wirelessly again.

I spent so much time trying to follow the instructions from the company. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT SO EASY! Thank goodness for KZreadrs! Why can’t the company get a clue on how to provide instructions! You saved me. I was about to throw this thing out the window.

The printer was a bit complicated to hook up kzread.infoUgkxciSwynMJ7PnUvvx11rewiu-yFBkZTl53 but it does the job very efficiently. I like the ink wells versus the ink cartages that cost an arm and a leg. It prints quickly and the quality is excellent. It shuts off when not in use, so you have to remember to turn it on. Overall, it exceeds my expectations. I'll update my review in a couple of months.

New router and having the devil of a time trying to connect it. I started your video, but I couldn't tell from the router packaging whether I had WPS. I decided to proceed as if I did. Made all your selections on the printer; went over to me router (in a different part of the house), and looked all over for a WPS button - there it was! Marked wps/reset. (Or reset/wps.) That's all it took. Excellent instruction, clear unaccented English (no disrespect to the very capable non-native speakers, but sometimes, when trying to do these computer things, for example, one needs to understand the instructions without a struggle), very simple. A big Thank You.

I'm in a pinch with crazy due dates and have to face the 'painful' approach. It worked! Thank you, Eric! You rock!

OMG! You are a life saver. My husband got grey hairs and lost hours of his life while trying to get it installed with the Brother information. I did it in seconds with the WPS - and was able to print from my smartphone right away. I am so proud. Although to be fair: you did it! Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for all of your tips. I tried all possible ways to get my printer back online and what finally worked was turning printer and router/modem off at the same time. When they came back on it found the printer right away. I always forget to try the easy thing first. Oh well at least it works now.

I got a new router from my cable company and after trying to connect the printer to WiFi I was ready to heave the printer out the window. I couldn't get the printer to hook up. Eric your video solved the problem on the first try, although I had to use the hard method I paused your video at each step it and only took a few minutes longer. Thanks so much.

thank you so much. just bought a new modem/router and just needed to set up brother with new network and brother wanted to charge me $89 and technician was trying to get into my computer and change driver... etc and was trying to make it like it was complicated to charge me those $89. I said no and found your video and did it in 5 minutes. Thanks a lot
