@@tonymontana3151 There's a part of the video where he goes out of frame, so it's not totally implausible that he reached for it or made movements that made it seem as though he was reaching for it. What most people don't realize here is that there are certain instances where the criminal gets shot but neither party are at fault so to speak. The Breonna Taylor incident is one of those.

He escalated the stop and murdered him as he tried to run away.

My father was an officer who talked down a man with a shotgun in D.C.. Because he showed decency and respect. My dad was one tough hombre but he spoke from the heart and the guy saw the sincerity and gave up his weapon. He always told me to get in the person's head, what they've been through before you show officer presence. Don't slam the door on them before you know their story. It's called descalation.. Granted there are times when immediate and deadly force are the only option but not every situation calls for the weapon pulled out at half ready right off the bat. .

The video shows him with his hands raised, not resisting. Then thrown on the ground and the cop just shooting him. There is no justification I can see in the video to warrant the cops actions. Even IF the cop thought he had a gun. His hands were up in the air.

Just because a cop is searching you doesn’t mean you should resist arrest. Not sure what the brother is trying to justify there.
