This has to be one of the best interpretations of First Nation culture in the century. It's also one of the most underrated Disney movies of all time, right up there with Atlantis, Treasure Planet, Dinosaurs, and Hunchback!

I suggest looking into Tomm Moore's work. It's very well hand drawn. Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, and his newest, Wolfwalkers.

I love Phil Collin's voice and music. Really hits me in the heart.

An amazing song performed by an amazing musician. God knows how many childhoods Phil has affected with his amazing songs, both in Tarzan and Brother Bear. He is definetly one of the greatest musicians in the history and deserves to be a true inspiration for future musicians

The lyrics seem to be full of wisdom and don't have anything to do with creatonist delusions

This is one of my favorite Disney movies. I also appreciate the movie`s message that to understand the world you learn best by seeing through the eyes of another, as Kenai did through the eyes of a bear. The song had a deep wisdom in every lyric. A beautifully written and sung masterpiece by the legendary Phil Collins.

A lot of people talk shit about "returning to nature" with out even being in the forest. Check out "South Park" classic episode "Rainforest shmainforest". Perfect example of ecologist's aesop.

Phil Collins is truly great. I don't think any other man is so loved across the globe for his amazing voice.

I love Phil's voice, always makes me happy and relaxed.

One of the great things about this movie is that it introduced brotherly love over anything else.

Brother bear (the first one!!) and Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron are two of my favorite kid movies of all time. :) I still watch them constantly lol a piece of my childhood that'll never be forgotten.

This is so much better than any disney princess movie! It's so touching

This song teaches our children to look deeper than the surface and see the world through others' eyes. Because they learned what means to be "blind beyond yourself" ... to look but not see. And they will not pursue pure knowledge anymore, because knowing much is not enough to be wise.

Phil Collins is just a legend for Disney movies. I always get goosebumps when hearing his voice, love him so much.

When I saw the brother bear for the first time it taught me loving older sister and care for living things. This movie has true meaning of love and guidance and wisdom.

Absolutely stunnng. I love this movie :) I'm 26 years old now and looking back I think a lot of my personality has shaped from animated movies like these. They taught tiny me to be open minded and to have respect for nature and its inhabitants. I'm super grateful for that.

Phil Collins a Man I grew up listening to.

The first time we reached "The key to understanding is to see thorugh others eyes" caught off guard, the second time reduced me to tears.

I never realized until a while ago how greatly full of numerous lessons of wisdom to live by that this song has in it.

Definitely one of the most distinctive voices ever to grace the world of music. Unmistakable.

Best bit.... "When the earth was young, and the air was sweet, and the mountains, kissed the sky.." That single section makes you feel so amazing and happy, especially as the screen pans over the foreground, looks into the mountains, and sun flares.

Brother bear and Tarzan have the best soundtracks hands down

Phil Rocks! Its hard to believe that he is already in his late 50s and still sounds better than he did at the height of his career. I was dissappointed that the Phil Collins version of the Transformation song was not in the movie.

I grew up watching disney films and i can say that brother bear is my ultimate favourite. I just love everything about this film. The characters, story, lessons, and soundtrack. 💯

Omg I almost cried. I love his voice so much! 💜 And of course that movie too! DISNEY FOREVER 💞💞

These kind of animation movies can NEVER die! It's a form of art. There just to beautiful. For some movies of today 3D works best. But 2D animation is just magical!

The making-of of this movie is kind of nice and informative. The creators really observed real bears and other animals in parks in Canada to make the animation more realistic!!

Wow. Phil really blew Tina out of the water on this one.

This movie and its soundtrack always meant so much to me, I remember watching this when I was young and a few years later when I expressed how much this made me wish I was part of the Native culture my grandmum actually told me I was. She told me that my great-great grandmum was actually a full blooded Cherokee, that my granda could actually remember her. She never told me as there never seemed to be a reason to, I was only a kid, why would where I came from truly interest me, but even as a child of nearly 10 that was the best thing I could have ever been told. Hearing that made my heart swell with pride and adoration of my lineage. To know I was a close descendant to the marvelous culture of the First Nations of America. The people who walked and lived as one with this land for millennia before the Europeans ever set foot on these shores. I’m still so proud of being a close descendant of the Native Americans and I will never let that pride die, and even when I have a child, I want my daughter or son to know just how proud they should be of our ancestors and learn from them. The Natives had so many great lessons to teach, sadly, the European Colonials did not wish to learn. But I do wish to, and I want my lineage to know our ancestors and their ways, to be so very proud of them, and to teach others who our ancestors were.

Phil Collins can make a Native American themed movie really well with his great voice almost like a chant towards the end of the song if you know where I'm talking about.

I greatly prefer Phil's version to Tina Turner's version. It's not that Tina's version is bad, but it lacks the emotion and heart of this version. This is the version that should've been on the movie and I can't believe they went with the other version. This is much more haunting, melodic and catchy.

I think the Tina version has more grit and is more raw and sort of fits in with the old shaman lady who's holding the ceromony. thats how i saw it as being representing her.

At the very least, they should have put it in the credits. Instead, you have Phil's versions of "No Way Out" (The theme from Brother Bear) and his "Look Through My Eyes." I'm not criticising those recordings, they're great as well, however, yes I would have liked to hear this version somewhere in the film, even as a credit roll. Yet, I'm probably also saying that from growing up with Tarzan and how his full version of "You'll Be In My Heart" is played during the credits.

Hand Drawn Animation rules...and it still does.

They're still magical. Brave, Tangled, Princess and the Frog. All magical and hold places in my heart

I'm pretty sure that Phil Collins voice has carried throughout my entire life, and as long as he continues with disney, his voice shall continue/
