Bravo! I’ve been waiting a long time to hear a modern opera voice like this. Keep it up, and post more as you sing more! An “old school” opera voice if I ever heard one.

@@DR-tx9mr it's about a different technique. I'm not an expert, but through the videos of this is opera channel and my little experience as a classical singing student (4 years) I can say that 1. Singers after Callas (roughly saying-not all singers, see Nilsson, Pavarotti, Carreras) have a different technique, which is more accustomed to technology needs, e. g. microphones. That means that a big and massive sound like Corelli's cannot go well with the tiny sound that a mic needs. 2. There is also a matter of time and competition. People today, not only in music industry, are not willing to work hard to develop their instrument. At least as hard as to reach Nilsson's level. We all want to get faster to our goals, right? Of course, talent plays a great role here, but if you take a better look at the modern opera singers, you cannot easily distinguish one's voice from another's (at least that happens with me). If you look at singers from Ponselle to Callas, every singer has something special in their voice, which makes them unique. Can you say that e. g. Oropesa is better than Sierra? Of course there is the characteristic element in the voice, but there are hundreds of other similar voices in the world. You cannot say the same thing about Callas and Tebaldi, right?
