@Angelos Saniotis it was released under GRX so Brooks' name would come up first and seem like he's the bigger artist (as most people didn't know who GRX was until Garrix did his facebook stream and revealed the Shermanology collab project), it's all about branding if garrix released it under garrix's name, it'd be Martin Garrix & Brooks, meaning that Brooks once again would be in Garrix's shadow

the bass is so precise and balanced. it hits the golden spot nasty and smooth flawlessly, and its almost as catching as the lead, but staying behind it somehow. i honestly have no idea how these two mixed this so well.

I´d say that´s mainly because of the bassline. A good sidechain shouldn´t really be possible to hear. I mean, the reason why it´s used is to make the kick stand out, while you want the rest of the track to seem "unaffected" by it.

🥀 Not at all lol, a lot of music may sound the same to you, but you should also think about the rhythmical structure of Brook’s drops and where he puts the accents. That along with the fact that he’s using different plugins and tends to use shorter notes in his drops, with short ‘note slides’.

TivxXDzn na I would say Brooks is more future house. Producers like Jay Eskar, Hilfilter, and Jason Gewalt are more future bounce I would say... But them Future Bounce isn't really a genre or subgenre, it's more of a colloquialism given to a style of sound within future house. In that sense, all future bounce is technically future house xD
